Always a horrible experience! Today we called to ask if they had pokemon cards, they told us yes and that there was a limit of 5 per household and there was plenty so we could go there in time and get some. We waited in like for 20 minutes while they chatted up the couple people in line ahead of us who they sold TWENTY PACKS to and they let them sign into MULTIPLE accounts as ONE person to buy them all!! We weren't able to get any cards. As soon as we got up they just told us there's not any left with a serious face after laughing it up with everyone else in front of us. These employees are literally the scalpers they claim to protect people from. Never going to even try to get packs from gamestop again. read more

This was a Christmas gift and luckily my father in law told me ahead of time so I could get my daughter something else. Compared to all the other Game Stops, this one really lacks the customer service and professionalism that the other ones have. I called to verify selection for preowned copies of call of duty MW3 and the lady said there were multiple copies. Upon arrival inside the store, I was informed there were zero copies. Not only was the customer service lacking and poor, but also inconsiderate of others time and gas money. It didn't help that they were trying to get my information before they even help me, like, is it really necessary to know everything about me before you even check if you have a copy of a video game? Don't they usually ask that at the end when you're paying ? I never heard other GameStops doing that and I don't get treated like that at other GameStops either. I remember once, I tried selling an iPad that was new and immaculate at this location, and Stuart tried to lowball me the lower value tier to pay out or trading. Stuart also refused to help my family member with a return, thankfully Ana helped but both were inconsiderate and did not apologize for being wand disrespectful towards someone that was speaking Spanish. Compared to the other GameStops they seem to give you a lower value for your used items as well here. I took my business to the GameStop down the hill and get good customer service there every time. Bought a used PS4 from GameStop, turned on the system and got a hard drive failure. Called to do exchange or return, but clerk says due to Covid19, they aren't accepting returns and exchanges. First of all, don't sell defective products, and secondly, don't sell products durinG a quarintine if you can't follow through with your guarantees. So be cautious folks. If I were to review this place a couple of years ago I would have given it half a star back then the customer service was horrible and no one really cared to help or do there job not to mention the lines would take forever. Today this GameStop is actually a lot better and they have a new staff that is very friendly and helpful. Reason: I called this store, while in the Apple Valley location, looking to purchase a Nintendo 2DS and they told me they had them. I spoke with a Cody who said to come in since they "have 1 blue and many red ones left". I drove across town and arrived 20 minutes later to stand in a long, slow line. I found Cody and reminded him I just spoke with him and he stated he remembered and would go get the 2DS for me. I stayed in line, another 30 minutes, until reaching the registers where a Brian told me they had no more 2DS'!! I told him about my call and minutes earlier in-store talk with Cody. Brian was rude and provided terrible customer sevice saying, 'Did you reserve it?' I said yes, with Cody! Brian deflected blame and said 'Cody is seaosnal!' Customers shouldn't need to care or be inconvenienced if he is or is not seasonal! Worse than poor customer service - it was terrible and unapologetic.
