Manager fabricated some story about how they lower trade credit based on covers. Absolutely a lie. I would have accepted they are unable to do so, however a blatant lie is unacceptable just so she would not need to accept the return. read more

Terrible customer service!! Waiting in line for hours with my kid to get denied Pokemon cards because the worker said that in order to purchase Pokémon cards, I need to pay for a membership account. I have a GameStop account, but that was not enough. Do not recommend. Never been told this before! other GameStop's sell Pokémon cards without paying for a member membership account Wasted my time read more

Went to game stop today around 3:00pm and the lady that helped me out was super helpful and sweet 10/10 customer service :)

Always a horrible experience! Today we called to ask if they had pokemon cards, they told us yes and that there was a limit of 5 per household and there was plenty so we could go there in time and get some. We waited in like for 20 minutes while they chatted up the couple people in line ahead of us who they sold TWENTY PACKS to and they let them sign into MULTIPLE accounts as ONE person to buy them all!! We weren't able to get any cards. As soon as we got up they just told us there's not any left with a serious face after laughing it up with everyone else in front of us. These employees are literally the scalpers they claim to protect people from. Never going to even try to get packs from gamestop again. read more

DONT ORDER ONLINE they justify canceling orders for no reason and depending on your bank puts a pending hold or charge on your bank account for 2 to 5 days. I called this location asking why my order was cancelled they said they don't know and they have both games I ordered online. All I have to do is be recharged another 119 dollars!!!!!! I understand I will get the first 119 dollars back in 5 DAYS but why not just process my order the first time. I'm only purchasing from Walmart, target or Amazon. Bye bye GameStop should be illegal and should've gone out of buisness years ago read more

Not a fan, they aren't very customer service oriented. Seems like if the computer doesn't tell them to do something they don't know how to do it. I literally drove to the Glendora GameStop to get what I needed. Tried to return my purchase 16 days after I purchased it with receipt and they said I was 1 day over the return period. For real?! This was a Christmas gift and luckily my father in law told me ahead of time so I could get my daughter something else. I went to my car and luckily it let me return it online, she said I don't know why it let you do that. Sorry we still can't return it in store you'll have to mail it back. Well I mailed it back and sure enough still haven't received my refund. Not good. read more

Their customer service is really horrible. How many times do I need to call to speak to someone, no one answers the phone. I know damn well gamestop ain't busy read more

I we t in to buy Elden ring and replace my elite controller. They told me the 50$ warranty was only good for a year. They never explained that I even asked if there was a limit on time when purchasing it and I was told no. I don't think they work off comission so idk why they would tell me that. Very upset I paid 250 for a gen 2 elite controller that now has wobbly thumb sticks They were very polite. But that doesn't help the fact that I'm out $250 plus warranty read more

I have NO IDEA what the employees are doing at this location. I have been trying to contact the store for 3 hours. Not sure if the people working there are clapping cheeks in the back or getting their back broken in the breakroom but they DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. it was so bad I called other stores NEAR them and THEY DONT ANSWER either. this shopping plaza is completely ASSCHEEKS. read more

Compared to all the other Game Stops, this one really lacks the customer service and professionalism that the other ones have. I called to verify selection for preowned copies of call of duty MW3 and the lady said there were multiple copies. Upon arrival inside the store, I was informed there were zero copies. Not only was the customer service lacking and poor, but also inconsiderate of others time and gas money. It didn't help that they were trying to get my information before they even help me, like, is it really necessary to know everything about me before you even check if you have a copy of a video game? Don't they usually ask that at the end when you're paying ? I never heard other GameStops doing that and I don't get treated like that at other GameStops either. I remember once, I tried selling an iPad that was new and immaculate at this location, and Stuart tried to lowball me the lower value tier to pay out or trading. Stuart also refused to help my family member with a return, thankfully Ana helped but both were inconsiderate and did not apologize for being wand disrespectful towards someone that was speaking Spanish. Compared to the other GameStops they seem to give you a lower value for your used items as well here. I took my business to the GameStop down the hill and get good customer service there every time. Good luck trying to reason with anyone at this location; they don't really seem to care that much, feels like they are doing it for the paycheck mostly. Thanks for the unforgettable experience I guess and for wasting my time and gas. read more

Bought a used PS4 from GameStop, turned on the system and got a hard drive failure. Called to do exchange or return, but clerk says due to Covid19, they aren't accepting returns and exchanges. First of all, don't sell defective products, and secondly, don't sell products durinG a quarintine if you can't follow through with your guarantees. So be cautious folks. Buy products knowing well you can't returN or exchange them if they defective. I hope they go out of business. read more

This GameStop is very friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable. Whenever I need to pre order my games I come here. I was looking for a god of war PS4 pro and called everywhere and this GameStop was able to get me one and hold it for me. I have always gone to the one by the sprint store but no more this one is way better! They go the extra step and also do midnight releases on the hottest games! Don't go to other GameStop just go to the one next to Baskin Robbins l! read more

Good people here. I really don't need much help when I come in to purchase an item, but when I have asked for any assistance, the employees at this location are always happy to help. read more

My favorite GameStop to go to! The cashiers and the managers are all super nice and really cool. They make every visit more enjoyable than the last. They help with all my preorders and gaming needs! The manager Don runs an amazing and friendly team! I would rate this team 100/5 stars. read more

This is, by far, my favorite Game Stop location in Victorville. Well-stocked and friendly-staffed, it's easy to find what you're looking for here...and if you can't spot it on your own, there's always an employee willing to help. They're a little over-generous with their preorder goodies, though - grab yours the day they come out, or you might find your fair share given away to fans who didn't actually preorder. read more

Slowest game stop ever!!!!! We called before going (3 different times) and they didn't answer the phone so we went in. OMG! I was in line for like 30 minutes, I was first too, will never go back to this location. read more

The cashier (Linda?) had a unbelievably long line (day before xmas) but rather than turn the experience into a robotic conveyor checkout she was EXTREMELY PLEASANT, managed to greet every customer entering and leaving the store with a genuine smile. The young man going up and down the line pulling product to limit wait times also helped. The cashier is the kind of employee you want to be the face of your company, if I was still managing a retail store I'd have offered her a job. read more

They completely mislead me about the 9pm/12am release... I ordered elder scrolls online 5 days ago and specifically asked if it was the 9pm release and they told me yes. I went tonight at 8:30 and asked if I could pick up the game at 8:30 and she said I had to wait until 9pm. So I wait until 9 then, she said she was gonna print me out the pickup receipt for 12am?? What?? I asked 2 times on two separate occasions and they confirmed 9pm. Waist of time and money, a 30min drive over there, 30min wait there, then 30 min back home empty handed. That is bad business.. read more

I first want to start by saying the staff here and nice and helpful. However, they are RIDICULOUSLY slow, to the point where I wonder if they are trying to waste time. They seem to show no urgency in getting through the customers in a timely manner and just kinda piddle about. Again, they are nice, but I don't know how they manage to be as slow as they are. You're better off going to the gamestop in the mall than here, and its not even a mile away anyway. read more

Came in looking for ps vita games. Unfortunately they don't display them anymore, the employee there refused to show me a list of games they have or the games themselves. If I were to review this place a couple of years ago I would have given it half a star back then the customer service was horrible and no one really cared to help or do there job not to mention the lines would take forever. Today this GameStop is actually a lot better and they have a new staff that is very friendly and helpful. The one staff member who stands out the most here though is Anna she's always a big help and she's very knowledgable on video gaming. You can tell that she loves being here. read more

Bottom line: They're disorganized, slow and lie. Don't waste your money or time shopping here! Reason: I called this store, while in the Apple Valley location, looking to purchase a Nintendo 2DS and they told me they had them. I spoke with a Cody who said to come in since they "have 1 blue and many red ones left". I drove across town and arrived 20 minutes later to stand in a long, slow line. I found Cody and reminded him I just spoke with him and he stated he remembered and would go get the 2DS for me. I stayed in line, another 30 minutes, until reaching the registers where a Brian told me they had no more 2DS'!! I told him about my call and minutes earlier in-store talk with Cody. Brian was rude and provided terrible customer sevice saying, 'Did you reserve it?' I said yes, with Cody! Brian deflected blame and said 'Cody is seaosnal!' Customers shouldn't need to care or be inconvenienced if he is or is not seasonal! Worse than poor customer service - it was terrible and unapologetic. No employee not even the manager, Ana, tried to find a way to apologize, explain or make their lies, passing of blame, and the wasting of my time, right. - I emailed corporate since they need to make changes to the management of this location. read more
