Do not buy from Stroud Appliance if you expect them to service their products. I thought that was…read morethe reason you bought from an appliance store, and not a big box store. Since moving here in 2003 I had bought all my appliances from them, never again. I have a full kitchen, then another full kitchen area in my finished basement. I first bought a Bosch Washer and Dryer when we move here. I then bought a Fisher Paykel Dishwasher for my Kitchen. When I finished the basement, I bought another Fisher Paykel Dishwasher, GE Refrigerator, and Uline Cabinet Ice Maker from them. All was great, till I needed any kind of service. I had an error code on the Fisher Paykel dishwasher in my kitchen. They referred me to their Sister company for service. I don't think the guy had a clue how to service Fisher Paykel. He came out, cleaned out the water in the drip tray to take care of the error code, billed me, and left. First time I ran it, same error. Just glad it didn't flood my newly finished basement. Glad it was a Fisher Paykel that caught the issue. Different guy came out again and ordered and replaced two parts. Worked fine after that. Dryer then stopped working. I called, and they said they were backlogged and gave me a number of a different servicer that I could call, or said I could buy new ones. I did buy new ones from a different Appliance Store. Final straw was the $2k Uline Ice Maker recently stopped working after 4 years. When I called, they said they lost their servicer for Uline. That I would need to call Uline. Well apparently, Uline doesn't have servicers in our area, only in NJ, and they will not travel to this area. So I am basically out $2k on a 4 year old ice maker, or I can fix it myself. Look elsewhere. I am getting ready to buy a new Thermador Stove, and similar Refrigerator for my kitchen, and also a Freezer for my Garage. It will not be from Stroud Appliance. There are better options in the Bangor area that deliver to East Stroudsburg, and would assume will service their products, unlike Stroud Appliance

Select another T-Mobile location, or another provider altogether. It's that simple…read more on 4/22/20 my wife called the Pocono Commons location to make sure they had a NOTE 10 in stock because the day before I had lost my phone and needed a new one immediately. And before I drove the 40 minutes to get there (nearest location to me) I wanted to be sure my time wasn't going to be wasted. The woman working there confirmed they did indeed have the NOTE 10, but they did not have any S10's in stock. She was very specific. Perfect, I wanted a NOTE 10. Upon arrival I walked into an empty store with two clerks who were NOT wearing masks but then slipped them on as I entered. Not having a mask myself, they were quick to tell me I could not be in the store without one, (but somehow they could?). This is starting to feel a little weird. They had T-Mobile branded masks on, so I was a little surprised they didn't offer me one. I was soon to learn that they were really not capable of effective, smart responses to customer interactions and opportunities. I asked the not-so-friendly male clerk if they could just give me a price on the NOTE 10. He said I would have to have a mask. So I lifted my t-shirt over my mouth and nose and was summarily told that was unacceptable... without explanation. I asked how is this any different from a bandana? He said it was required that I have both hands free because I would need to sign something. (With both hands?). Things are getting stranger and more frustrating. I asked if I could stand at the door to talk. He stood inside at the door and proceeded to tell me, who was outside, that they'd have to log into my account in order to provide pricing for the NOTE 10, as if they don't know what the phone costs otherwise. Made no sense to me. I almost felt like they were going out of their way to dissuade a sale. So I was forced to go to the nearby Target, who said NOTHING about me not having a mask, where the best I could do was buy a t-shirt to fashion as a mask. So I did. I went back to the empty T-mobile store, where I am sure they put their masks back on as soon as I pulled up. I went to the counter and asked for pricing on the NOTE 10 from the woman standing there. Fortunately, the rude male was on the phone and I was being offered service from the female clerk. She's the one who had spoken to my wife earlier and confirmed they had the NOTE 10. She proceeded to take my ID and log into my account, then informs me they have no NOTE 10's in stock. Now I'm furious. I said "You couldn't have told me that BEFORE I went through all this nonsense with the face mask?!! You knew I was here for a NOTE 10 when I arrived the first time!." Just a smug look - no response. I stormed out and went down the street to Best Buy, and I suggest you do too. There, I bought a brand new UNLOCKED Note 10 PLUS, so I can now switch providers after that awful retail experience. That's 4 phone lines - including my business lines. At Best Buy I paid a competitive price and chose the insurance option. I don't know what the cost would have been at the Pocono Commons T-Mobile location, because despite having my account open they still couldn't/didn't give me a price. The bottom line is that this rude man and clueless, uniformed woman working in an empty retail location should be taught and trained to value the few customers who walk through the door, and make sure they don't mistreat them, mislead them or waste their time. Because, like me, good customers will quickly go to nearby competitors to spend their money and/or switch providers.
