Took 45 minutes for the employee to trade in my old Xbox. She had no idea what she was doing, it was a refurbished console and the control of course had terrible stick drift. I called and they said all they could do is trade the whole console in for a used one. So I can get another controller with stick drift. Also the manger was a jerk and rude to his employees. Would have given 0 stars if that was an option. Also they only gave me 20$ for my Xbox one that they are selling for 110 used, not even refurbished. read more

I went to this store on to trade in a device and buy a new Ps5 and a ps portal spent over $600. And the person working there (Callie) spent the whole time complaining about how my wife and I came in and interrupted her meal. How she's been working a double and extremely rude towards us. The only reason I made the purchases was because I drove over 35 minutes to the GameStop. Very disappointed and will never go back to this store. read more

My home store. It's not the biggest or the fastest, but the employees are kind and know their stuff and get you in and out with what you want so you can get on with your day. I've never had an issue with used games not working. I use their website to check their trade values ahead of time to make sure I'm good with the number so I don't experience shock at the counter. read more

73/100 in 2016 challenge Good location for me. I have never had a problem with this store. I do usually call first to make sure they have what I am looking for in stock. I have been there a few times where they didn't have it and they called other locations to find it. This is set up like all the other stores, but I do think it might be time to updated this one. The wear and tear is starting to show on this location. I do think the lines tend to move extremely slow here. I will of course be returning. read more

A little annoyed by GS and there employees taking what new or hard to find merch they get in, ex: pops exclusives or chase especially buying them and not allowing customers to have the opportunity to make a purchase, bad enough your prices are way to high, but now you can't even get what your looking for cuz it will already be sold b4 it's on the shelf. Done sooooooo much business here over the years that it's been open, but I'm now searching for a new GameStop to frequent. In the last month, the ENTIRE staff has changed (with the exception of 2 guys, who are as good as ever when they're there) and the new staff is HORRIBLE!!! One older guy even said straight to my face "I don't play video games or know anything about them". How did you get a job at the biggest VIDEO GAME retailer then? The guy who took care of me last time had NO idea what he was doing and didn't seem to know anything about gaming either. In previous times, I've always been able to get any and all questions answered (and usually start a great conversation). I've bought - and loved - more games than I can remember based on the old staff's recommendations. And now this new staff doesn't even PLAY games, pathetic. The shape of the store has gotten worse and worse over the last month too. Nothing is organized and where it belongs and they seem to be rapidly running out of inventory. Several times recently I've gone to purchase a used game only to be told they don't actually have it, just the empty case that was on the shelf. I'm NEVER one to complain (I work in retail and can't STAND it), but this used to be one of my favorite places and I'm beyond disappointed and upset that is has turned so bad so quick. I hope it's not a trend for all GameStops and that I'll be able to find a new one to call my home away from home. read more

Usually I like the place, but I just call to see if they were going to be open at midnight for the Diablo release and got the creepiest attitude from an employee named Anthony. He replied back "I don't know, do you want us to be open midnight?" and "Are you excited about Diablo 3" . All in a very weird tone that would make me hesitant to let my child go into the store alone. I was just looking for a Yes or No answer and ended up with the Anthoney off his Meds show. No mater what you do it will take you 20 minutes to pay and get out of the store no mater how busy it is they waste time endlessly upselling . last time I was there I waited in line as an employee rung up a giant stack of games for them self and took there time figuring out how to give them self the biggest discount. read more

I've been going to this game stop for quite a few years and yes when they are really busy sometimes it does take some time to get through the line at the store but there are reasons behind this. I have two children ages16 and 10. Micheal and his staff always takes extra time to ensure that my kids are getting age appropriate games and he does spend the time with each customer to ensure that what your are buying for your family is appropriate as well as delivering a recommendation on each purchase. I will gladly wait a few extra minutes to get this kind of customer service. I'm not sure why the review from Richard P is so negative but I can assure you that the manager, Michael and his staff are very professional and they take the time to care for their customers. Let me explain how great this game stop actually is: Recently we gad a theft at our home and our PS4 was stolen as well as some electronics. I called this Game Stop just to see if maybe the PS4 was brought in to try to be sold. Michael and his staff started calling other Gamestops in the area as well as sent over e-mails to watch out just in case in the thief's tried to sell it. (So far no luck find the PS4 but were still hopeful) Also in the loss was my youngest sons Xbox 360 games and a Halo Controller that he absolutely loved. When we went into the Game Stop upon our next visit Michael and his staff went through all their inventory and was able to find a replacement Halo Controller for my son as well as help us out to get him back some of the games that were stolen. All of these employees went way out of their way to help us out and when we left my son was actually smiling and not so sad any more. The customer service at the Saint Cloud GameStop is amazing and I would highly recommend this store. To the person that gave such a poor review all I can say is that I have never seen any member of the staff at this Game Stop be rude and especially not the Manager, Michael.
