I was glad to see how seriously they took it and felt very safe in their store. There's something for every comic and collectible fan here. I loved their selection of Squishables and Funko Pops. I saw many that I had never seen before which was cool. It was a lot of fun to browse. The selection of graphic novels was really nice, especially the holiday themed display. I was tempted by several of their titles that I hadn't seen around. I somehow didn't purchase anything (being good!) but I did see many items I kinda needed but didn't really need. It'd be a great place to visit for Christmas shopping as I saw several potential gifts (and not just gifts for me!). I can't wait to stop in again.

You get this pathetic excuse of a store. The BBB not finding in my favor is not a thing. That is not what they do. They contact the company and there is no actual finding but a mediator before court. I made it very clear I want my money back which I have still not received back. Now I'm going to go after thousands in court for misuse of my personal data. I'm still going to court to get my money back and falsely using my information to file a fake police report with my private information which is not what that was intended by my personal information. As I've stated this is the worst comic book store in the world and they should and will be shut down. Filing a false police report because someone says they're going to go to Court doesn't constitute a threat. They purposefully lied to me about the value of my trade it. Then misused my information to discredit me.

Bull Moose Music moved from its former smaller store in Downtown Portsmouth to a bigger strip plaza…read morespace on Woodbury Avenue near Gosling Road.  Anywho, this new employee owned Bull Moose store is way less cramped than its former downtown location. This store had their grand opening several weeks ago. Like its old location except more spread out inside, the Portsmouth location offers a pretty good selection of new and used music, movies, video games, and books to choose from. The store is still a work in progress and evolving. The store has been organized nicely by sections with vinyl records, books, CDs, video games, DVDs, Blu-rays and miscellaneous items in between. The music is organized by genre alphabetically with a mix of new and used CDs, though some CDs were not on the shelves yet and still in boxes. The DVDs and Blu-Ray movies are separated and organized alphabetically, TV and music titles separate. The prices including the sale prices here are very competitive to other area stores  (ie. FYE, Best Buy, Target, Walmart). As a holder of the Bull Moose Music FBC (Freakin' Buyers Card), I earn points with each purchase here and receive the Bull Moose Music weekly emails with their e-sales flyers, new releases, promotions, and events (chainwide).  IMO, the new Portsmouth Bull Moose location is an improvement to the older cramped location. The Bull Moose Superstore in Scarborough, Maine is still my favorite location with a larger selection of new and used books to choose from, which also had some good travel books offered at deep discounts.

I will NEVER bring in all BRAND NEW, UNOPENED DVDs to BULL MOOSE ever again. I finally decided to buy the box I wanted, thought I saw Terry pull the exact set I wanted (foundations) and purchased the items, I hit no receipt since the store doesn't do paper and didn't want to enter email or phone numbers. Terry asked if I wanted bag for the box of cards and I said sure. I leave with the binder and bagged set of cards, go home and pull out the set Terry was pushing, not the set I requested. I called the store and Terry is still talking about the set he wanted to sell instead of the set I wanted to buy, suggesting I had confused him when I never mentioned New Phyrexia. I told him I hit no reciept and he tells me it's 'well that's your problem'. Well now it's the store's problem Terry because you used Bait and switch tactics on a customer who realize your friendly act is a grift. I'll never go buy from this store again. The product is overpriced there anyways.

Great little hole-in-the-wall store. I usually try to get in there once a month to try to buy…read morelocal. The owners are very knowledgeable about books/authors and what books they have available. If I'm looking for something specific and can't find it there, I usually wait a couple weeks and can usually find it there. (In some instances, I've found it on thriftbooks.com). But definitely an awesome story run by amazing people. Every time I go there, I can always find something that suits me. Would certainly advise people to at least check it out if they are in the area. You really can't find places like this anymore.
