Ngl I rarely go to GameStop but I went due to the controller deal they had where they give you full credit for damaged controllers. I made like 140 in credit with like 7 broken ps5 and Xbox controller. Purchased a PSN gift card I gave my lil nephew but the code didn't work. I went back and they didn't help me at all I had to deal with it myself through PSN... even though it was this store that sold me the code. I think that's bs fam I called many numbers before PSN finally gave me another code worth 100 bucks but man I got ZERO help from GameStop. I suggest don't buy gift cards here or any other GameStop or I promise if you get a fucked up code they won't help you AT ALL‍ read more

I called in for some assistance regarding warranty. Someone named Zack or Zach answered the phone. I inquired if he could assist me and he said no they were busy. I asked if it's a no just now and I can call back later? His rude response was we are busy and we won't be slowing down. Just WOW... read more

You can't get them to answer the phone. Doesn't matter what time of day. And it's not like it's busy in there. I also see there business model has changed to scalping pokemon cards. Not to mention the overpriced used video games and consoles. I used to love going there. Was a member as well. It'll never be the same. read more

Stopped into Game Stop because they had a free Pokemon promo card with any $15 purchase or more. 1 per adult customer with an account, kinda sad if you have more than one kid and only one account because you're not able to purchase for all of them. I got in line around 10am because the store opened at 11am. They took preorders first and then 5 customers at a time so they had a nice system in place. The service was great. The employees would come out from time to time giving updates and explained that there were only two of them working so show patience. I appreciated that. They also advised when they were down to the last 7 in stock. We got two of those 7. The one thing I don't like about game stop when it comes to Pokemon cards is they've decided to inflate their prices and sell them more than other retailers to capitalize on the market. Overall it was still a good experience and I'll go again if they have another promo card. read more

Whoever was working the register today around 4/5pm then this review isn't about you, you were fantastic at your job considering your manager was just stood at the front of the store on his phone not helping you deal with the giant line of people turning in controllers. To whoever Zack is, being sarcastic with customers and basically making them feel like they're wasting their time for standing in your non-air-conditioned store while you have one staff member actually working isn't exactly a sure fire way to get people to come back to said store. Never stepping foot in a GameStop again so great job! read more

Usually they got decent service here but today it sucked. Both workers were at the front on their phones (a white girl with glasses and a white dude with a vegeta hair line). Me and my sister were waiting for them to get off their phones to help us out. read more

went to turn my controllers in for the deal that ends soon and an employee named zach he has longish hair and a beard was just an ass , i watched him clock in and he was probably there tops 10 minutes and was already pissed and bitchy can we get this guy fired, seems like he's just miserable. i went at 7:00 so he works around that time read more

Did a PSA drop off here but with the issues on the GameStop app I wanted to call and see if my submission was ready for pickup. Well I have now called 12 times today (trying to avoid unnecessary driving with these gas prices) and not once have they answered. Totally okay with getting told no it's not ready. Totally not okay with trying to contact you guys 12 times and nothing. Honestly just answer the phone and boom 5 stars. read more

Just left this store. Girl with the green dyed hair had an absolutely horrible attitude. I walked in at 11:30 am (they open at 10am) and she looked at her watch like "Are we open yet?" Open sign was turned off. She was working on inventory. When I asked her for some help (I had been looking at cards) her immediate response was "Everything we have is out" without even bothering to look at me. Absolutely horrible customer service. Will be reporting to corporate. read more

My favorite location they always have what I need very helpful and knowledgeable staffing

I went to do an online return and they said I could not do it. I had issues returning my order online. So I went to another GameStop to do the online return and they were able to do it. That guy was just lazy or did not know how to do it. read more

Just a heads before you drive there and waste your time they only sell pokemon to PRO Members.

Stopped in at 6:35PM was turned around by the cashier. Chose to not assist me with my trade in although the internet website says they are closed at 8:00 PM not 7:00 PM. Regardless of the additional hour 25 minutes would be more than enough time to process my transaction. Dissatisfied with the service that this location continues to provide. Go elsewhere stay away from this place that continues to hire lazy workers. read more

Would do zero stars if I could... Has to be the worst franchise in the establishment, and that's prior to Covid, but today was the final straw. First off I arrive at the store at around 2:25, the gates are locked behind the glass doors and there's a note that says "on lunch, back at 2:45." No big deal, the manager returns I go in to try to purchase the item I came for (wireless headset). I grab the box and take it to the register. Guess what?! They don't have it in stock. Why would the box even be out on the shelves then? She gives me the options on how to get them from another store, all of which are more complicated than ordering from Amazon. I decline but ask about the Marvel Guardians game that's going to be releasing the next day, much to my delight she tells me they'll actually be releasing it at 9pm this same evening in-store. So here I am at 9pm walking up to the door and the gates are halfway closed, I get the same manager's attention she comes to the door and I said 'you told me to come back at 9 ,' she goes "we close at 9pm, you had to be inside before then." This is why brick and mortar stores are failing, it's less hassle just waiting two days while Amazon ships it. read more

Both my husband and I are gamers and we purchase TONS of games. We come here at least once every 2 weeks. Most of the employees here are polite and informative. We always get approached when we enter the store and asked if we need any help. I had an incident where I took off the gamestop price stickers from a game before I realized that I did not like it. Thought it would be an issue returning it, but it was not. Huge shout out to Michael, he's super informed and always gives great suggestions on other games to play. read more

Terrible customer service. I have called this location more than ten times to get information on products I want and purchases I have made. This guy doesn't seem to know how to pick up the phone, ever. I don't have time to drive over there to speak with someone. The only reason I frequent this location is because it's by my work, but the locations closer to my home have never given me this problem and definitely know how to operate a land line. I think this location has seen it's last dollar from me. read more

Gotta give a 5star review for a few reasons and here is why: Before I went to the store I called to see if they had mlb the show 15 for ps4 in stock which they did so I went off and put it on hold for me. After arriving I was greeted and helped very quickly, Carla was the one who I spoke with on the phone and made the transaction when I got to the store. She also helped my niece find her game for the wii U. I've been to other game stops before and their service really sucked since they are always busy on the phone and often seem distracted, but today's experience was good. Got my game so I'm a happy camper! If I was to give you some pointers to customers. Either go to the store when it first opens or is gonna close... Not the last minute but like 30 minutes to avoid all the little kids who are in there causing a mess. Overall service was fantastic. Thanks Carla! read more

I know it's stupid to say if I could give 0 stars I would but I seriously would never come here. All of the workers here are lazy, I called right before coming here and I asked if they had this specific thing and they said yes once I got there the store was on "lock down" even though all the stores around there were open. I called to see when they were going to open but instead they were all just laughing at the people stuck outside. I went to go press them and ask them if they were going to open or not and that's when the fatass that works there decide to finally open, once I was in they didn't have the SAME THING I CALLED FOR. Horrible service please don't waste your money here read more

Ok no! I get to this store the manager(I guess) was on her cell phone having a conversation I as a customer did not want or need to hear so no greeting or anything. I found the game case I wanted but of course they were sorry the actual game was sold (horrible inventory management) it happens. Opted for another game the same but supposed to have extra games per them, got it home found out I needed a special accessory to play it so I tried to call, the message kept saying they were too busy to answer which I knew was not true the store was empty like 7 minutes ago so I went back(still empty)! Manager disappears on poor young associate when I came back to complain, but not before she informed me oh our phones don't work, I replied "ridiculous "! I just got my money back and left very frustrated. Will NOT be going back to this location!!! Get it together GameStop Rialto, your sucking hard right now! read more

GameStop - Came in associate on her cell phone arguing, gossiping who knows - Videos & Video Game Rental Near Me - Rialto, California

Part of the problem with Yelp reviews is that people often only leave them when they've had a really good or really bad experience, and that skews the results. My husband and I have been coming to this store regularly since it opened, and have overall had very good experiences. Are the associates perfect? Of course not, but we've never had one be rude (and the way some customers treat them, I admire their ability to stay polite). Often they've been very helpful, even in ways that may cost them a sale (like warning us off a bad game). Yes, sometimes the wait on them answering the phone is long, but on the other hand some people complain if they're in the store and a clerk picks up the phone while working the counter, so no matter what they do someone will gripe. The size of the store can be an issue sometimes since I often use a wheelchair, but I've been in bigger GameStop's where I had less room to maneuver because of the way displays are placed. On the other hand, it does mean that sometimes we end up going to stores in Fontana or Redlands to get something that the Rialto store doesn't have in stock. Most of the time, though, it's not an issue. read more

Horrific Customer Service! I called (909) 820-3283 and wanted to speak with the store mgr about an issue. Jesus answered the phone and said he is the mgr. After asking him a few questions to find out he is only an ASST mgr. He argued that ASST and regular mgr are the same. If so, why his title is only "ASST?" His salary is less than a regular mgr. Jesus is too argumentative , provoking, combatant, and incapable of handling my issue; he has wasted my time. I had to repeat the same when the regular mgr is back. Being egoistical and bully, Jesus is the worst kind in customer service, low-leveled, a loser; but why would he care! He receives paychecks anyway. He has no respect to customers and has just lost my business. My family and friends would never shop there. Strongly not recommend! read more

I dont normally buy video games, but i will have to say it a quite disturbing experience going into this gamestop vs the other ones i had went to before. I walked in wanted to buy my game and asked for a game called " gundam breaker " and go one of the guy [ bearded white person with blond hair wearing glasses ] that works there literally say " oh gundam trash " . of course i was caught of guard by such random comment as this is not something i would hear from an establishment that is trying to attract more customers. i would call your name out but i didnt bother to look at your name tag. I think what disturbed me most is that he tried to play it cool and act like he knew what he was talking about by bringing up an anime called gundam F. unfortunely, you are unable to redeem yourself there. what you meant was Gundam G. With that being said, thank you Story for not making my experience completely awkward. read more

Went in today with my boyfriend he was looking to buy a new headset for his xbox. Recived horrible customer service no one greeted us did not care that we were standing 2 feet away from the employee waiting to be asked if we needed any help. Still nothing even if there was only one other customer in the tiny store. Not once did she attempt to help us. Even when i stood in line. Never going there agin. read more

This store is usually on their game for customer service. We go in and get out without being haggled and without any nonsense. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the employees are usually talking about their personal lives instead of working. They should wait till the customer leaves to talk about dumb stuff. read more

Just left the store. Went in with my boyfriend to buy a controller and 2 games. Coming in was up to standard, we were greeting upon coming in, we were asked if we needed help as we looked around. Towards the end after we finished taking a look at things, my bf hand been approached by one of the female employees to see if he needed assistance while I waited in line to purchase the 2 games, there was a man and his son being helped ahead of me so I patiently waited to be next. As the women helps to unlock a gaming controller for my boyfriend, she then decided to take it upon herself to further that great customer service with him by jumping him to the FRONT of the line completely cutting me. After she finished ringing him up only THEN did she finally continue onto helping me out. Little did she know that the guy she helped with actually there with me and needless to say.. I sure didn't stay quiet about what had just happened and I for sure let it be known exactly what she had just done and made sure she was embarrassed. That smile she had on her face sure did fade fast once I got done with her. After seeing the comments on this location, I'm actually not surprised by how the customer service is. Unlike the two other reviewers, I've never had any problems with the cashiers. They are always happy to help and I always chose this GameStop over the others. Worst experience ever! If I could give them zero stars I would. I would not recommend this location! I went into the store to ask about a game my fiancé wanted for Christmas. I waited in line to simply ask a question for 20 minutes exactly. Not once did I get greeted by the only person working there, but when I finally got to ask her my question, she had a nasty attitude. Then she told me she didn't have the game at this particular location so she called the Colton location who kept her on hold for another 10 minutes. Finally, I was so fed up with the waiting that I said thank you and left. A little tip here, if your super busy and your the only worker, at least acknowledge other customers. I have a busy life and was late for work thanks to this lady who doesn't know anything about customer service. read more
