I placed an online order for in-store pickup, drove to the location, and was then told they couldn't sell me the console because it was "extremely damaged." This should have been caught before listing it as available, and it wasted my time and gas. Trying to give them another chance, I placed an order to have the console shipped instead. When it arrived, the Xbox button on the console was broken and wouldn't press properly. So again, I received a damaged product. What's worse is that despite these two separate issues--one in-store and one from their warehouse--GameStop has refused to offer any type of compensation for the inconvenience. This shows a serious lack of quality control and customer service. Customers shouldn't have to deal with damaged products twice and then be left without any resolution. I expected much better. I am writing this today because this store changed a lot not like before when Josh was there and he knew how to treat paying customers. Paige and Joeilyn aka Joei horrible and worst customer service. I've pre-order a game I called and Joeilyn answered the phone. If the game was there on July 14th and she said no and I called on July 16th and she answered and said No the fame is in transit. So, I called again and the game was finally at the store. When I walk in they started with the attitude Paige said "We called You hundred times and U didn't pick up!" She said that that 2 times with an attitude and Joeilyn aka Joei saying nasty things to me. However they changed their attitude when a customer would walk in trying to be and calling me Ma'am and trying to be nice. When that customer leaves they start telling me off and acting rude and very unprofessional on there part. GameStop needs to hire people who actually love doing their job. I've avoided gamestop for years because of bad service. I see nothing has changed. I'm a die hard TMNT fan and saw this devil company had the neca tmnt figures exclusively for them. Anyways, ordered them online and for no reason my order was cancelled, even though I have a pending charge in my bank account. I then Decided to go to a GameStop that said they have them in stock. Yeah, shows how bad I want these. I walk in and the guy asks "can I help you find anything?" I start talking and the employee wasn't even listening to me. So this time i simply say "do you have the neca tmnt" he said "nope they're for preorders" i then said "website shows you have some in stock" he then responds with an attitude "like I said we have them for people who PREORDERED!" Then they shouldn't show they're in stock if they're technically sold already. I first stopped coming here cause they sold the Batman Arkham CE game that I preordered! I pre ordered the new Neca Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie figures back in October of 2018. When I went to go pick them up up on Thursday (2/7/19) I was told the store Manager decided to sell MY figures on Tuesday (2/5/19) even though the release date was not till Wednesday (2/6/19, I have 48hrs from the release day to be able to pick them up which would give me till Friday). Some employees are nice... others are just plain weird. Ive been in here a lot and most of the time I see the employees talking amongst each other and they are so loud, you can hear their conversations through the whole store. They need to learn how to be more respectful of the customers in the store and learn how to be professional, this manager or supervisor who is always there is always so loud and he's the reason I don't like going, (he wears glasses). I have also noticed he's always the one who is starting the conversations... One time I saw him talk badly (not professional) manner to a 12-14 year old kid. I don't think his tone was acceptable, I almost said something to the employee but I didn't want to get into an argument.
