The place is small, staff is nice, and has any games and collectibles for anyone or anything. The times prices are good enough to be cheap.

The kids love this place. It is a bit pricey, but you can find some good deals. In the past I…read morebought several pop culture themed t-shirts, I believe it was buy one get two free. Today they had a big Pop vinyl figure sale. Many of the figurines are around $5, I found some good ones for $2.99. They also offered buy two get one 75% off. The kids love getting these figurines, so it is great to find some good discounts. If you like pop culture themed goodies, this is your place. Sometimes it is easier to purchase goods in-person instead of paying for shipping and waiting. Certain items like Japanese goodies are prevalent here. They have other themed candy and cereal goodies, plush, accessories, blind bags, and multimedia items. If you love anime, manga, and other popular animated entertainment this is a place to search for all of the best themed purchases. Before rating this store, I did read the other comments. They did ask me about the membership. I declined. Seeing that other customers experienced sneaky issues, I hope I will not experience them myself. Unless you purchase a high amount of items from this establishment, it is not worth spending the extra money. Unless you purchase the items on sale, FYE does tend to be a bit more expensive than other equivalent stores.

A little back story, I've shopped at this location before and the employees are always a tad rude…read morebut nothing too horrible, but this time was way different. I always pay with my phone because it counts as magnetic swipe rather than NFC, meaning anywhere that takes a swipe card takes it (I've used it multiple times at this location alone). This time, however, I was greeted by an extremely unpleasant individual. Now onto what happened. There was someone ahead of me being rung up so their cashier called for back up. Immediately upon walking up, the man who was back-up (longer hair, pale skin, almost skeleton in appearance honestly sort of scary), gave a heavy sigh as if our presence was bothered. That wasn't too bad, we all have bad days, I get it. When it came time to pay, I turned on my phone's pay service as I've done here before, but immediately the man said "no" with no context. I assumed he meant to wait for something on his side so I moved my phone away, waited a little, then tried again. This time, he said "I said no." Confused, I asked him what he meant and he said "we dont take phone pay here." Now at this point I get the confusion, I've had similar encounters at places like Hot Topic that don't take NFC, but after a small explanation they always let me try and 10/10 times it works. This man, however, was very different. Before I could even get half a sentence out explaining, he cut me off saying "I said no. No no no, no. No we dont take it. Use a card." At this point I'm really confused by the countless "nos" as if I'm a small child being scolded. I ask once more to try and be said "I told you no already, get out your card now or just leave" so I walked out. The audacity of such an employee to not even allow a customer to try something they've done before is simply mind-boggling. I'll never be shopping at this location if I walk in and see him, awful experience.

This is a great place for everything pop culture. If you are into pop figures, anime, manga, Hello Kitty, Studio Ghibli, Disney, then this is the place for you! It is located next to FYE, but their direct competition. They have some really fun merch for all. They have purses, clothing, the most adorable baby clothing, table top accessories, waffle makers, posters, you name it, in the most adorable and inviting displays that just make you want to shop. They had an amazing collection of Lounge Fly purses/ backpacks that I have never seen before in every pop culture category. They had cookbooks, coffee makers, basically so many items packed into one space, but organized and vibrant. My child purchased a fun pop figure and even registered for their point system which will generate coupons including on your birthday, so if you purchase a lot of merch in this category, it is probably worth exploring their rewards system. I know for sure we are going to go back here soon. I believe some other locations have already popped up in Michigan, but this is the first one near us that I have visited. I have only hear about this place before, never actually seen it until yesterday.
