Had what I needed, suggested alternatives. Clean, well stocked store. Price was fair!

The hardest part of my trip is finding parking. Once inside, I found exactly what I needed and paid for it. I carried on my day.

Barely grunted at me when approaching the register and at checkout he rang me up and then asked if I was a subscriber. I said no, and I asked what that was. He said if I pulled books with them I would have received 10% off. Which I would have done! But he asked me AFTER he ran my card. It should be mentioned, the store is very well put together and has great character. They do have a lot of back issues and high end back issues, BUT they are priced well beyond what they should be. Worth a one time trip, but probably only a few times a year beyond that.

AND, it's their storage room so boxes and bins everywhere. - Their selection of games and minis is pretty cool, shelves and shelves full of the things gamers like. * Conversely, their selection pretty much seems like it is stocked by what the staff members like and several requests were met with "I don't know anyone who plays that." Prices are a little higher than most local games stores I've been to and the only things that go on sale are things no one wants to buy, but the staff is friendly and helpful.

Peter and Tara are always great. Their new staff members are also very sweet! They help out a lot when I have questions and the prices are very reasonable compared to other places I have been to. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn new card games and make new friends! Also they have great selection of boxes and sleeves.

I found this store through online recommendations and expected a welcoming tabletop gaming environment. The cashier was polite and greeted me when I walked in, so credit where it's due. But after that, the experience was honestly disappointing. There were three employees in the store, I was literally the only customer there, and not one of the three employees ever asked what I was looking for or if I needed help with anything. One older gentleman, who seemed like he may have been the owner or manager, came across as grumpy and completely uninterested. The cashier, who was female, was the only person who acknowledged me at all. The two men working there barely made eye contact, acted completely uninterested, and honestly gave off the vibe that they did not want to help me or even acknowledge my existence. It felt awkward and unwelcoming the entire time I was there. I walked the entire store from front to back trying to find something beginner friendly for a child getting into Dungeons & Dragons. From what I could tell, the store seemed overwhelmingly focused on Warhammer and miniatures. Maybe they had what I needed, but I honestly could not tell because nobody bothered to engage with the only customer in the store. The frustrating part is that I made a pretty long drive specifically to come here because it was recommended online. It would have taken almost no effort for one of the three employees to simply ask, "Can we help you find something?" Instead, I just got grumpy expressions, zero interaction, and an uncomfortable atmosphere. What's really a shame is that my friends actually play Warhammer, and when I first walked in and saw all the tables, setups, and gaming space, I honestly thought this might be a cool place to bring friends and hang out in the future. But after the attitude I experienced, forget it. Gaming is supposed to be fun. It's supposed to be social. People should be smiling, talking, welcoming others into the hobby, especially when someone is trying to support a local business and introduce a kid to gaming. Instead, this place felt cold and unfriendly. Honestly, when you go into a locally owned business and the staff acts uninterested or unfriendly, it makes you lose interest in buying anything from them. I was specifically trying to support a local gaming store instead of just going to a big franchise like Target or Barnes & Noble, but at least in those places someone usually asks if you need help finding something. If business is struggling there, I honestly would not be surprised if attitude has something to do with it. I left empty handed and disappointed. I'll probably just end up going to Barnes & Noble like I should have in the first place instead of trying to give a local business a chance.

This comic store has been here for well over 15 years & I've been a customer of theirs for quite…read moresome time. From the outside it doesn't seem too big but you quickly realize how much space they're working with when you step inside. They're filled out wall to wall with comics, collectibles, figures & even have a RPG space set up. I've been to stores that heavily favor one category like super heroes, for example, while leaving all the other genres hanging. PPF however, has one of the best selection of varieties in my opinion. They're loaded with DC, Marvel, TMNT, horror, manga & also carry some niche ones. I also appreciate how they stay up to date on weekly & monthly releases with a section dedicated to them. Prices are solid & they often have a couple limited/exclusive variants. These are a bit overpriced but sometimes it's better to get them in person & support local rather than online & deal with shipping. Years ago, customer service was a bit iffy but recently it's been nothing but great. They greet you right away, have no issues answering questions & act like they appreciate your business. This is a great place to check out if you're a fan of pop culture, comics, figures or books in general. It's really hard to stop by & not leave with something in hand.

They maintain a nearly full stock of current releases no matter the day of the week. The staff are also SUPER sweet, had a lot of great suggestions. Spoke to one of the staff about absolute Wonder Woman and she had a ton of recommendations on other comics I might like. A note on the low reviews: I came here before and had the chance to talk to the current owner, the shop has come under new management, so don't let the low reviews scare you! This has genuinely been one of my favorite comic shops in South Florida so I definitely recommend checking it out. Also I know they do challenges for free items on their instagram, so if that's something you're interested in - I'd really recommend following them! Happy shopping, friends~
