A good blend of merch and games My fiancé and I swung by to check out the selection while we were in town and spent more time here than expected. They had several used consoles and controllers, and quite a few Pokémon singles to peruse through on top of all you'd expect to find at a GameStop. The staff member running the shop was really chill and made sure we had what we needed without trying to up-sale us to the max which we appreciated immensely. Nothing too extra special about this location but we did see some more uncommon finds, like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Collector's Edition with the skate board included, so we'd say it's worth it to stop by if you're in the area. read more

Never open. Was there at 12 said they open at 10am. Didn't read the reviews till after I left wish I had before. Apparently this is an ongoing problem with this location so. Best bet to go somewhere else. read more

I went to this GameStop on February 22nd to go submit some cards. This was my first time doing this, so I wasn't quite familiar with the process or the GameStop. As I go in I see some very friendly workers and a couple other costumers. This very kind lady worked with me to submit my Pokemon cards and I can't describe how patient and kind not only her, but every other worker too. They were so friendly to converse with and made it a great experience. I also purchased some Pokemon cards for a great value which I was very satisfied with! I spent roughly 250 ish that day and I felt it was extremely well spent. This is the best GameStop I have ever been to and I HIGHLY recommend! 10/10 would recommend and go back to for sure. read more

I came to GameStop for the past 3 weeks and it always been great . I come there to put money on my cryptocurrency wallet . CoinZoom and GameStop signed a partnership and it is the easiest way for me to add money on my wallet . Well today as I walked in to add $60 on my wallet . The employee in front of me had no clue of what I was talking about . He said " This is shady and I don't feel comfortable doing it. " I kept my cool and explained to him that I came here yesterday to do it and about 2 weeks ago and I didn't have any issue. He said "I was here yesterday and I didn't see you" . So first I get called Shady in front of my son and now I am a liar? What kind of employee talks like that . I told him to scan my bare code so I could just add money and go one with my day . He scanned and didn't know what to do. He then called his boss and start telling me that it is not possible to do it . I got mad and I told him that I don't appreciate his attitude that he called me shady first and now he refuses to deliver the service I am willing to pay for . We went back and forth and I ended up cursing him out as well and I left . I went to Walgreens right next door and it took me 5 minutes to get it done . Nobody called me shady or a liar and no one disrespected me in front of my son. It was 11:50 when I was at the store and this employee was first of all disrespectful and insulting and he clearly didn't have any knowledge of why I was asking him. I am black 6'4 with a beard so I felt like from the second I walked in he already made up his mind that I was SHADY and up to no good. I asked him for his name he didn't want to tell me . I wanted to report this incident to the manager . So I hope this message will . I really think the color of my skin has something to do with his attitude from the second I walked in . The manager Britt? is simply amazing I saw somebody in front of me trying to return a game and get the money back on their card. She calmly explained several times that because they kept the game for two months she couldn't give him a refund. For some reason, the redneck couldn't understand and just kept getting angrier and louder. I've worked retail before and I gotta say she handled it like a pro, didn't get flustered, and just explained what she could do for him. It took a while to get out of the store, but that was on the snaggletoothed loudmouth that wouldn't take no for an answer. Staff was so nice. I've had a great experience but their boss-Brittney, I think it is-was rude. She was rude to her employees while we were there and it felt like a mom getting onto their kids. She has no right treating them or talking to them in that manner. I would hate to have a manager that way. I'm going to find a way to make a complaint on her. I wish I could give the place a negative star. The Manager is the reason we will be taken our business to a different location. She is very rude, looks like she hates her job, has a bad attitude, is very short when you ask her a question. Was told I could return something so I bought it and turned out I didn't like it. When I went to return it they said they stopped taking returns the night i bought it. This location also has a great selection of pre-owned items which are kept in like-new condition. It's Unfortunate to say but this location has gone downhill. Half the staff are awesome and I can carry on conversations for hours if they let me. The other half are not so friendly and fun to talk to. Completely unhelpful and at times a bit condescending and rude. I've gone in there wanting to make simple purchases only to wait in line for about 20-25 minutes while the only person at the counter finished something out. On two separate occasions I've had the person behind me walk out as the person in front me had one item and that item took over 15 minutes to complete. My Girlfriend was able to go a few stores over and shop while I waited in line. She came back over and ended up waiting in line with me as we sat there for another ten minutes. This place needs more staff and friendlier people. I understand the one person during the day but obviously they're losing customers. And come 3-5 years my guess is at this rate they'll no longer be there. read more

The only reason I am giving this store a 1 star review is because of a personal experience I had with the manager. I have spent alot of money at this store over the last 8 years and one day I was making a 60 dollar purchase and right before I finalized the sale, I noticed I needed to also break a $100 bill. Upon asking the manager/cashier if he could break it(keep in mind he had a stack of $20's in his till) he told me that he couldnt because it was against policy. SERIOUSLY!! Was so excited to purchase a Nintendo switch lite and was relieved when I saw a female working there because I always feel a little intimidated walking into the boys zone. We've been to this location twice and both times the girl behind the counter told my daughter there were issues with her items and decreased value substantially ($40). The second time she decided not to trade in and took it to another place and there was no issue with the item. Funny how that works. I guess she likes ripping off kids. This place is a disaster! Shady corporate business practices only inflame an already crappy shopping experience. Today I went into this store to purchase the game Splatoon 2 for my Son. I had a gift card that I wanted to use. I picked up 2 t-shirts, and a Yoda figurine for my Husband. After waiting in line for 20 minutes I finally got up to the register. I was being assisted by a large Man ( didnt catch his name). After he rung up the merchandise I inserted my credit card to pay. I had not signed for the transaction at this point yet when I realized that I had intended to use the gift card in my possession. I asked the cashier if he could cancel the transaction, and he stated that they could not cancel the transaction, and that I should just sign then they would do a return. I signed (against my better judgement), and the man proceeds to take 25 minutes trying to do the return. A smaller Man came up and did the return in 30 seconds. I was assured the money would go back onto my Visa. The large man then re-rang up my merchandise, and I handed him the gift card that my Son received for his birthday. He then told me there was no value on the gift card. By this time I had been trying to check out for 45 minutes, and was getting annoyed so I asked to speak with a Manager. The smaller man came back and identified himself as the Manager. He then told me that there is nothing they can do to help and I should just call the number on the back of the gift card. I came home and called the number and was informed that there was $30 on the card, but it had been frozen! I politely told the Man on the phone that there is no disclaimer that the money on the gift cards expires, and that corporate needs to be made aware of the laws about withholding funds without written disclaimer. The man on the phone then informed me that this happens "all of the time", and that he is always getting complaints about this. He informed me that the $30 will be back on the card in 3 days! I am now worried that the $82 will not be refunded to my credit card. If you want to experience good customer service and basic competency from store associates go elsewhere. This will be my absolute last visit to Gamestop. They are going to end up being sued if they dont correct the deplorable business practices. read more

Even though the store was starting to fill up with customers, he was still willing to be patient and explain what his offerings were. I asked to look around a bit so that he could take care some customers, then I asked about a new PS4. Again, sharing his experience and opinions with me as a fellow gamer about that system.
