This store and these people in it are a perfect example of why it's just a matter of time till GameStop is no more. I went in to buy an Xbox console just because it was convenient. I NEVER come here. The gal there talks me into some membership after she insists it's free and will not auto renew and charge me. I walk out and it wasn't 10 minutes later I get an email she signed me up for auto renew and I will be charged in 3 months... I call and she tells me she can take care of that in store. I take a couple weeks but finally make it back in there to cancel and of course they tell me they can't cancel it in store and I have to call their customer support number. Get frustrating that I had to call some number and deal with people who could barely speak English because this girl lied to me and did exactly what she said she wouldn't do. Will NEVER return. BEWARE: ALL SALES ARE FINAL! IF you buy anything here for your kids for Christmas or any other reason, note that you will NOT be able to return OR exchange OR get store credit. My son purchased a $45 headset with his own cash. Took it home, opened the box, tried them on, and decided that he wanted something more expensive. Brought them back the next day (Brand new in the box) to exchange for the $100 set and the answer was "NOPE". ALL SALES ARE FINAL! No credit, no exchange, no nothing! They stated that if the tape wasn't peeled from the box, maybe they could take back but highly unlikely. Mind you we just spent $600 on a PS5 here 2 weeks ago (Which I now regret) Sad to say, I try to support local brick and mortar stores, but when I can buy online for the same price and it comes to my door the next day and there is no question on returns....the decision is easy. Because of Coronavirus, they changed their accepted payment methods and will not let you pay for pre-ordered games. They refuse to cancel and return my deposit, and hung up on me when I asked how to contact Gamestop's corporate about it. I was forced to buy the game elsewhere, while they are keeping my deposit, and Gamestop's customer service and social media have not responded in the last two days. I had to downgrade to the standard edition because I couldn't afford the price difference without the money I already pre-paid, which they are keeping, and lost out on the pre-order bonuses they promised. This is not the first issue I have had with the store, but because I liked the store and liked the staff, I brushed it off. Like buying a "new game", which had been opened and the game stuck in a sleeve under the counter, which was handled by staff and had fingerprints on it when I got home. Another person here complained that they stack multiple price stickers on their games, and I can confirm this is completely true - when the price changes or goes on sale, they just stick a new price over the old one. This company also sent out a letter from corporate telling employees to resist law enforcement if they were told to close, to say they were an essential business, and to contact corporate (which in my experience of the last two days is impossible). I hate doing a bad review, because most of the staff are nice, and very helpful. But all the bad stuff you hear about this company is true, and that apparently includes this store. Even if the employees are nice, this company doesn't deserve your money right now. read more

Today, my older brother, my second older brother, and my self went into this GameStop in need for some DS, or 3Ds games, so we asked if they had any. Their response was quite rude as they told us in a very mean and strict tone that they didn't have any. We knew they did as we had gone their 2 days before today, and when we said that we knew they had them they answered in a even more rude tone stating it would be the exact same games, which it wasn't. One of the employees also kept calling us "dude" with a face basically telling us to get out of their store. Once my older brother pulled out the money to pay for it, the worker kept telling us different prices for the game, so we got confused. He then told us, "Dude! It's 52.99!" In a very rude voice and tone with a mean look. He even gave me a bad look, and yelled at my brothers. Went in to purchase a gift for my nephew, he's been wanting the Lego movie video game and so I decided to go to gamestop. Price was $18 which I thought was a little steep, but got it and drove home. Once I got home peeled labels and stickers off it to wrap it. Then I saw price tags for $14.99 and 9.99. Tis the season to rip off honest folks I suppose, when I returned I was told that prices can vary and fluctuate. What they really mean is its the holiday season and we can steal from you. They are crooks and thieves, never again will I do business with this establishment as a whole. I only hope you guys are proud of yourselves for ripping off customers. read more
