I couldn't see how to fix it online, used "chat" finally gave up and called the store. after explaining my situation the young lady who answered said she could do nothing, she couldn't refund over the phone. a huge pet peeve with me. customer service 101, never say you can't help someone. I asked her if when I picked up the order and returned the item at that time wouldn't they be able to refund it? she back pedaled, got upset and I told her never say you can't help someone, always think out of the box. she could have offered that to me but she immediately said no. she hung up on me. nice. I got no notices that my order was being processed, was ready, I finally looked online and it was ready so my husband was able to grab it on his way home. Customer Service appears to be a lost art here at our local Michaels. Oh, and by the way, they give you a customer service number of 1 800 Michaels, it's Incorrect despite being given out by everyone and plastered all over their site. It's too many numbers. The staff at the store was very kind and got me hooked up and out the door within 15-20 minutes. When i got back to town i went on Nov 1st to the store to return my equipment. They put the info on my acct that it was returned, and then I was given a 1-800 number to call to cancel service. When i called t-mobile to cancel service they said i would be charged for october and november because i returned equipment one day late. I asked if they would prorate my bill since i was not using their service after nov 1 and they said no-that's their policy. I am very disgusted that i have to pay for a service i dont have and im not using. The customer service people basically said "sorry too bad" to me and because of that, i will never use t-mobile again and i wont recommend them in the future to anyone. I like the transparency about what they'll buy and how much. I was immediately aware that this shop leans more into purchasing things for melt-value versus the numismatic value. The cases in the shop had silver coins displayed - mainly junk silver (silver quarters, dimes, halves) as well as rounds and bars. This shop offered the same purchase price as another coin shop in town for the $20 gold double-eagle coin from 1905 we brought in, but almost $200 more for the $5 gold coin than the other shop. I would come to this shop if I wanted to sell coins for melt value. I would check online before going in on the prices and what they are buying (I like this), but I probably wouldn't buy from them, and numismatic collectors would most likely not like this shop very much.
