While Game Stop retail can fluctuate in terms of quality from location to location, this is for sure one of the better ones. Aside from having good deals on Xbox One games, they still carry a few Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii games which is always nice. Some good deals on used Switch titles too. Staff is very friendly and can be fun to talk to about games on a slow day if they aren't busy with other customers. All around great experience and somewhere I stop every time I'm in Medford. PROS: - Good prices on used games for 8th generation game consoles (Xbox One/PS4) - Still accepts and carries a selection of 7th generation games (Xbox 360/Wii/PS3) - Very friendly and knowledge staff CONS - Sometimes a bit of a wait due to being a bit understaffed in the evening usually little to no wait time. read more

I've been looking for a specific older Wii game and the employees at game stop are so educated on their products. I've been going to both locations and both stores give awesome customer service. I have been checking back with both stores regularly now- because I have to likely buy used. Today the customer service even went further as he showed me the brand new Nintendo unit that's coming in March- looks like another technology breakthrough and it may entice me to switch over. Took my money for a pre-oreder for the PS5 back in September. When I went to pick it up they told me I had to buy 3 more accessories in order to get my PS5. When I didn't agree with that they gave me the number to call. When I called they said they would fix it and that would not need to be done. (Don't worry about the 48 hour hold) well 3 days later I didn't have the PS5 went to the store they said sorry its gone. END RESULT.... NO PS5 AND NO ANSWER TO WHY. read more

Typical sexist employees. I walked in with my wife and the employee didn't even acknowledge her existence. She was literally standing right next to me holding my hand and he said how are you today sir. Said nothing to her, did not even look at her. Sad thing is she is the power up rewards pro member, not I. So I loudly said hello to my wife in front of him to make sure he knew what he had done. Said, "F*** THAT" and walked out. We stopped in to get some things we needed and to browse (because additional 50% off on sale items) and ended up not only getting what we needed but more! Leina suggested calling another store to see if we could maybe find something we were looking for and not only did she find it she's having it sent to this location for us to just pick up when it arrives which is SO convenient for us. Absolute liars. Two different employees lied about data transfer between two switches. I proceeded to go in, and pick up my preordered switch to be told THE OPPOSITE by another employee and a customer. I feel like I was just being sold a product. Customer service has always been at least a 7/10. Its not great, but its there. I mostly just stop by every other week or so to check for cheap games to add to my collection so I don't mind, because I know what I'm looking for. I know for sure that all the employees working at this store are at least moderate-playing gamers, so that's always a plus. However, please never per-order games, help us all. read more

The gamestop in the Rogue Valley Mall has the most incompetent workers. How they can screw up customer accounts, make points and cash just disappear from accounts is beyond me. Been waiting over two months for them to fix two merged accounts. To date, they simply say all records of pre order money put down, points, and order history are lost. SOL. I will make sure that I tell everybody I know about how horrible this location is and how the workers can not handle money, pre orders, accounts, the computer.
