I'll note it's not a super popular game, but they did have a similar version. While there, looking for the game, I overheard the employee telling another customer how GameStop isn't doing well since it has to compete with online and so many other retailers. When I asked at the counter since I couldn't find it, the employee looked it up and said they didn't have it, couldn't explain why the website would say their location did, but did recommend I go to a different location further north that supposedly had it. Not sure why I'd do that at this point because at this point... I will just order it online.

It took a week because of the rules in Marion County but Chase most definitely brought tranquility back to my house. The last time I went in to sell, it did take a few minutes to get an employees attention to check my items in, but it wasn't a super big deal. I'm sure as time goes on and they're able to get more staff on, they'll be just as awesome as the location in Castleton. I'll definitely be back soon. I've been a regular at their other location for a few years and I'm glad to see them expanding (and opening up a place closer to where I live).

I ended up buying a new comic compilation to read for the plane ride back to California. I am sad this store isn't in Cali, because I would be there every week. The staff was really nice, as the guy at the front counter showed my boyfriend how one of the display games worked. They had a practice match and he took the time to explain the rules and give a couple of tips on strategy. It's great to see someone who really enjoys their job. I didn't have enough time (or money) to grab all the things I wanted, but this store definitely was a high point for my visit back to Indiana. It's going to be somewhere I visit each time I return.

I especially loved the sensory toy shelves. Price points were about what I expected. Some smaller items for $3-$6, like mystery squishes and sensory toys. A lot of what we looked at was closer to the $8-$15 range, but there is plenty of $20+ items, with some large pieces that were more like $50. So I think you can find something for most budgets, albeit small things on the lower end. The staff we spoke to were efficient and friendly, and check out was a breeze! They do gift wrap at the counter, too, which is fantastic for buying gifts! I'm not sure if that's complimentary or not, though. Also nice for littles and grown ups of--there's a public bathroom with a changing table in case you need it! We easily spent half an hour exploring and walked out with two small toys for less than $10. Happy to support this local shop! It's well worth a visit next time you're on Mass Ave.

Spencer's is located a couple of doors down from the new Theo's Italian Restaurant in The Shops at Perry Crossing in Plainfield. Spencer's is always a fun and affordable store to browse with a fun selection of t-shirts, jewelry, games, lava lamps, fun room decor, accessories, lingerie, adult novelties and sex and wellness items. There are tons of things to browse and see so you can easily lose track of time. The staff was young but then I am old. The staff was helpful and friendly, plus they appeared to enjoy their job. Street parking is available, plus the closest mall parking lot is directly behind Theo's Italian Restaurant. Being an outdoor mall, there are parking lots everywhere.

Every time I've gone in it feels like they watch your every move. It's unsettling to be stared at the whole time you're there. I like to look around places to see what new things they have and potentially buy something but the big boned women in place act like you're a thief the moment you walk in. I brought my friends once to look around with me and they brought us all to the front and had security pat us down. Needless to say we didn't have anything. Im done going here until they get new employees or teach these ladies not everyone is a thief. Their items are way over priced anyhow.
