I went in for a turn in for store credit. Everything went perfectly. The guys were the coolest dudes and chillest ever! They treated my console right in front of me and answered all of my questions. I told them I wanted a new ps5. My Xbox was in great shape and so they gave me 280 dollars store credit. I got accused of trying to scam them for a controller for showing up without a receipt but the insurance sticker on the box. He even called the police on me and described me as being black. I am hispanic . I ended up going home getting the receipt but just decided to go to the Terrell location and when I show up the lady said " I don't need your receipt I see your sticker on the box" When I say never again will I ever in my life go to this games stop in Forney. read more

I came in for a controller for my son and I didn't gave much money and the guy working Friday night was very rude and kept pushing me to buy a membership even though I said no like 5 times. I know you all work for commission , but there is a very thick line between being a good salesman and bring too pushy! How many times do I have to tell you know before I have to explain that I'm broke and only trying to my my child happy, but I probably won't eat for two days just so he can have this remote!? You guys really need to think of a better way of selling things besides questioning me after I've told you I do not want this membership, I only come in when I absolutely have to! I can not afford to come to Gamestop all of the time because most of the time I have to buy things online for my son so that I can get them cheaper! But no, this guy insists on embarrassing me in front of my child and anyone that was in the store! No means no! I don't care if I was there 9 months ago! I don't need the year membership. Every time we come here it seems like they jack prices up. The employees are rude sometimes just because we don't know much about games. However, one lady there was patient with us. We are pro members however, they changed it to where you have to be a "elite member" to get he discounts. This is outrageous!! Get it together!! read more

Let me start off by saying that the people at this location are kind and courteous! The problem isn't with the store but with online ordering. I ordered Star Wars Battlefront I and II for the original XBox. The warehouse shipped it very quickly, but when I received my order, I had to separate cases for I and II with two copies of Battlefront I. At my local GameStop , I returned the extra copy of Star Wars Battlefront I, which was sent in error in a Battlefront II case. I then reordered Battlefront II, which I quickly received, but the disc was all scratched up and wouldn't work. I took this disc back to my local GameStop and tried to exchange and reorder another Battlefront II. They had raised the price of the game by $3, which I was ok with, but when the clerk started the reordering process, she informed me that GameStop no longer offered the "no rush" (free) shipping option and that it would cost $4.99 for shipping. This is by far my worst online shopping ever! I have lost all confidence in ordering pre-owned games through GameStop! read more

I come here at least once a month for new games or DLC content but I'll just buy everything online now because the customer service here has gone to trash it use to be really good for example my PS4 that I bought was malfunctioning after a couple of days of buying it and so I took it back and the people who were there were extremely helpful and nice and gave me a new one but now whenever I go in like this past time I was asking question about my rewards membership and a couple other things and the people there didnt even give me real answers they just were trying to get me out of there so why even bother going when the people working there dont care about there jobs or there customers read more

Poor customer service, wouldn't take our game because it had a small scratch that was barely visible by the naked eye. We bought a $60 game and when we got home to download it, it told us there was an error so, we called and they wouldn't take back the game because it was "too close to closing time." Won't be going back, even the manager (Ashley) was unwilling to help me. read more
