It's one of my staple Gamestops I go to buy my games, pre order, trade in, the works. I never really had any problems with it. The employees are great too. My favorite employee who later became one of the managers was super helpful, funny and fun to talk to but unfortunately she isn't there anymore. The employees that work here now are also super informative, friendley and cool to talk to. They always call to inform me my games are ready to pickup (which I always appreciate) and a few times when I forgot something in the store they called to inform me as well. All in all, it's a great store!!

You go to the 'sell video games' link then check their wanted list with real time prices and list all the others you want to send. They send an offer sheet , usually within minutes and the choice is yours whether you want to acquiesce or not. If you do, they send you a free shipping label/tracking and off they go. Takes around a week and you are paid with PP,Deluxe E-Check or store credit. The one less star is for the E-Check as it was a little glitchy the first two orders before I switched to PayPal. And Game Trader is one of those fabulous finds! The games and equipment are up to 30% cheaper than at EB Games or Game Stop! The staff is very friendly and are willing to share their gaming and platform knowledge. The store is small, but it's not that crowded and the prices are right! The store also has a generous policy on returns - for both used and new merchandise - that puts other gaming stores to shame. If you want some reasonably priced games, quick service, and a huge selection - head underground to Game Trader 9th and Market!

It DOES NOT cost that much to send under 1 lb., at most $7-$8 but they do not provide any other option for shipping other than 2-day priority so I placed my order as my 6yr old son really wanted these Amiibos for his kindergarten graduation gift. I placed my order on a Tuesday evening & did not receive it until Saturday. That does NOT reflect 2-day priority. So I got gouged with outrageous shipping charges just to have it shipped late!!! When I addressed my concerns to the business they simply stated that they do not guarantee shipping & responded very unprofessionally. They clearly are in the business of ripping off consumers & DO NOT care about customer retention. As a former business owner, DO NOT OVERCHARGE your customers for shipping, be ethical & give the customer exactly what they paid for! You just lost me as a customer.

They were very helpful, had several of the items I wanted and most of all I felt like their prices were fair. The owner also gave a nice discount. My mom went to several other retro video game stores in the area and none of them compared to this. The other stores were either severely overpriced and unwilling to negotiate, the employees weren't friendly or they didn't have a good selection. This place was perfect and I would definitely come again when I'm in town.

They are growing (still growing) company that cares about the community. I have met the owner and seen his vision. He is there from time to time and interacts with his patrons. The staff is really friendly. Now the only downside is the current location. I was there and didn't have a spot to play on a Friday night but that isn't the stores fault. Everyone had their own little groups and pods so as someone who is alone I feel out of place and had to sit at the cafe. The bright side is they are moving to a bigger location if I heard that right so I am excited for the team and company. To sum up the location it's a place you can play video games. You can rent a room/theatre lounge for private events/gathering. You can rent a computer/consoles to play. You can join a community to play card games, they even have board games to use. A really convenient mini grocery store with all kinds of Asian snacks and ice cream. They even sell boba tea.
