The new comics are displayed display well at the back of the store surrounded by the more recent books and then the nice selection of back issues. The area around the counter has the cool collectibles, some statues and other goodies. I like the old collectible comic related drinking glasses. Then you resurface into the shelving of Manga, graphic novels, toys and Funkos. Up front there are some display cases full of older collectible comics and a rack of t-shirts. Check out the pics. I was talking to one of the employees and they said that they have six local writers/artists/creators coming in for free comic book day this Saturday and John will have his convention stock broken out and set up. His convention stock is amazing for silver age and golden age and key comics ! I didn't really know about this store until my church friend, John, suggested the store to me because that is where he found his Bible cover. So, I came to find myself a Bible cover for a new Bible that I bought a week prior. I bought the Bible while in Chicago which is a used Life Application Study Bible that I randomly found for $1 at a bookstore. I was able to find a brown covered Bible cover here at Books-A-Million in October 2025. It has an Ephesians Bible verse on the front cover (Put on the Full Armor of God) and side pockets on the inside of it. I also like the side handle to carry the Bible cover. While at the store, a guy friend from church called me and asked me to find him a large print Catholic Bible (with the aprophcyha) but I couldn't find the exact one that he liked. I ended up returning back to Books-A-Million on October 31, 2025 to buy a Catholic Bible for him. A few others later chipped in money to use in purchasing this Catholic Bible for his birthday in November. I couldn't find a large print Catholic Bible with Jesus words in red so I bought a regular print one with Jesus words in red plus a Bible magnifier. I returned to the store in November 2025 to look for something that they didn't have but per my posted photos, I bought some Dubai Chocolates (I am writing this review almost a year later). INSIDE -- the store is large and organized by various sections. BOOKS GALORE -- There are many books to choose from, including fiction and non-fiction. They offer books in areas of business, religion, mysteries, sports, romance, etc SERVICE -- It may be difficult to find help because the store is large. When I finally found assistance, the employee was helpful during my two October 2025 visits. I remember during my first October visit, the employee walked around the Bible section of the store with me trying to help me find a specific Catholic Bible. I'll definitely be back again if I am looking to buy a specific book (I traditionally shop at local bookstores). This sucks in the first place because I live 30 minutes away and now have to spend another hour in the car, but because of what was offered I decided it was worth it. I called in and the person I spoke with said they'd swap it out for a Playstation that is a level above the one I purchased for $10-$20 more.. The reason for this is that they thought they were out of the level of Playstation I bought. when I arrived the manager reneged on the offer, and said I'd have to pay the full difference for the better Playstation. They found they did have one left that was the same as mine. FINE. That is okay. Reneging is not okay as a business, but giving me the same thing if you have it is okay. However the manager said I needed to pay again for the warranty on the new one.. THIS IS A PAWN SHOP. Things are negotiable. It would have been nothing for her to take off the amount of the warranty and allow me to leave with an okay experience.. Instead she wanted to suck every dollar she could out of me. After spending 2 hours in the car dealing with this, and being sold a bad system.. You just can't do a single thing for me? I would have never drove all the way back there had I known I'd be spending more money on the exact same thing. My girlfriend is moving in 2 weeks and needs a new tv. I was planning on buying it from this place, but that is not happening now. Just really bad business, and I could see this is the type of place to get you for everything they can. Not concerned with repeat business.
