I went into this store to return a preowned Playstation portal that I had bought at the waynesville location because the employee there said that my mom could play the device on her profile while I could play on my account on the main console, this ended up not being the case and it didn't work quite the way we wanted it to so since we bought it preowned we could still return it. I'm in no way upset that they waynesville employee was incorrect because everyone is human the manager at this store however was very rude when we were explaining this to him after he asked why we were looking to return the item. He told my mother that"common sense should have told her we couldn't use two devices at the same time but it's not our fault that she didn't know any better" he kept rambling on and on and at this point we just wanted to take our device (since he hadn't competed the return nor even started the return) and he refused to give us the device we still owned back. My mother asked him a numerous amount of times just for her device back, she was practically begging him for her own property back. Eventually he did give it back and when handing back the receipt he was saying how he deserved an apology for how rude my mother was and that he didn't need this today and told us not to come back. My mother never raised her voice, never spoke down on him or anything. I am VERY disappointed in the service we received and had he not been so rude and condescending he would have actually made a sale since we took our business back to Waynesville and was able to return it with no issues even though their systems were having issues the staff at that store was so sweet and patient that we ended up purchasing the Nintendo Switch 2 instead and not only did we buy that, we had left and came back and bought ANOTHER nintendo switch 2. We have been long time customers at the Arden store but we will NEVER return after this. No one should be treated the way we were. read more
