I like going to video game stores for their special promotions, and gamestop happened. To have one on Pokemon. After the event, I saw a game I have been waiting patiently for, and decided to purchase it. After being asked to get insurance on my game, and saying no, the (rather snippy) cashier said it would cover "cracked games". Although I found this peculiar, I marked it up as paranoia and was on my way. When I opened the game case at my house, the disk was cracked, and didn't play. Frustrated, I went back to this gamestop. The SAME CASHIER told me that I "should have gotten the insurance" and dismissed me. After demanding to speak with a manager, and after signing what seemed like my life away, I managed to get a refund. Although I did get my refund, I am still VERY displeased with the service I received, as well as the mafia-esque sale techniques. This establishment barely deserves 2 stars, and will no longer receive my business. read more
