Gamestation in Wolsey Place sells a range of new and preowned games for most consoles including Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, DS, PSP, PC and older cartridge consoles such as the Sega Megadrive and N64. They also sell gaming accessories and some other items such as Pacman belt buckles and Mario badges etc.
The store is quite small and cluttered, which can be part of its charm, but often means that it can end up quite busy, and during peak times such as Christmas it can be very difficult to find any room inside the store at all.
The music played in the store is usually theme music from games, and sometimes this is interspersed with Japanese artists, which is pleasant enough but definitely appeals to a certain sort of gamer.
The bargains to be had here are sometimes considerable though, considering there is rarely anything wrong with preowned games the prices can come down significantly. I have noticed occasionally they have had sale stickers on items that have in fact only been reduced by a penny though, so I would be wary about assuming something is going to be a good deal just because there is a sale sticker.
