Wandered into this store out of curiosity a while ago, and haven't considered going anywhere else since. The gentleman running the place was very kind in all of my experiences, so I'm beginning to wonder if there's another "Games Exchange" that people think they're reviewing negatively. Anyways, the prices are beyond reasonable, and on a few occasions it felt like I was ripping the store off! During my first trip there, I walked up to the register with an almost brand new controller and 110 cards for $45. Then the owner even offered to drop the price down to $30! At one point I even went to other stores to compare prices, and found that some were charging even double or triple what they were asking for at Games Exchange. You can't beat them. That goes for trade-ins as well! So long as you make a reasonable offer, the owner accepts with no problems. Keep in mind of resale value people. You make yourself look foolish by bickering over a few bucks. Games Exchange is probably one of my best experiences that I've ever had when it comes to game-oriented stores, and they have won me over as a customer. If I had to choose one thing to complain about, it would be the look of the place. But once you blow the dust out of the way, you'll find a hidden gem. I'll gladly keep coming back, and recommend the place to any and all who enjoy what they can offer. read more

I was looking through cards here one day and kids were laughing, running around and having fun.. they then started asking the owner(Tony) questions. I just hear him mutter (I hate f***** kids). This made me feel bad for the kids. Not only that I have been a loyal customer spending $1000+ dollars there and the owner started spreading lies that I was a theif and that I sold him stolen goods. NONE of which is true. All cards came from my collection as a child. I am an honest person. So, I confronted Tony(the owner) and he proceeded to cus at me, telling me to get out of store. Don't support this business!! He is a angry and sad person. I used to try and support this store as much as possible. Untill I saw the stores true colors.. Really love this place. Tony ALWAYS gives me a great deal when I come in. I'm not much of a gamer but I do find some gems now and then for my husband's gaming habit. I love buying movies here and trading them in for $1. All discs on the shelves are cleaned so I get a steal of a deal with $2 and $3 movies that are like new! The selection is vast from trading card games to records to some new games and movies. It's not like other stores because the selection mostly depends on what people trade in and I like that about it. The store often has classic games and systems that stores don't carry anymore and that's why I love it. read more

Its called Games Exchange, but it should be a pawn shop. I like that they give you credit when you bring in old movies, toys, and even vhs. I brought in about 15 dvds and got 20 dollars worth of store credit. So I used it and bought a super Nintendo system, still in box by the way. So altogether, I gave him 15 dvds, and $30 for the super Nintendo. I'll be back with more dvds and vhs and try to get the pink Floyd picture they got or the old Atari system. too bad they did not have super Mario brothers for the system I bought. maybe next time. read more

My husband and I always look forward to coming to Games Exchange when we take trips to the coast! Tony always gives us such an excellent deal that we never leave empty handed! Not a bad place to find rare items like toys, old game system and movies. I come here every other day and sometime I find something I NEED to get. The store is pretty chill, everyone keeps to themselves unless you have questions. They're big dodger fans so expect the Tv to be blasting when the dodgers are playing. But overall, its a small business, chill people, and rare items. Good if you collect things. read more

Great place to trade games, idek what the heck is up with the other people but they haven't dealt with a hardcore gamer irl because the guy that owns the place is a pretty cool guy in my opinion. You get great deals here if you are a reasonable person. read more

Tony is a solid guy, he always comes through. Fair prices and cool finds, Its a great store to find older movies and vinyl as well as grabbing some original nintendo games. If you're missing a cable from your console, Tony can find it. read more

Run down looking place. The guy behind the counter seemed depressed he worked there.
