I recommend about an hour visit. It's just enough stimulation and not too bad on the pockets. It's $40 for an hour of VR gaming. Then if you want you can do game consuls which are about $30 an hour. And if you wanna blast to the past you can play one of the old nostalgic gaming consuls for about $10 an hour. I think it's a cool place to come for a date if you're into gaming and want to do something different as well. Located inside Factoria Mall, the venue is large, with an arcade and prize game area in front of the mini golf course. My friends eagerly played some games to win novelty toys and tried the cotton candy maker. I played some pinball so if any of this sounds fun in addition to golfing, they have it here. The course as expected has about 16 holes, all with varying lengths, obstacles and angles. It's a lot of fun lining up different putts. The decor has a sort of comedic-horror art with a Washington theme and other mechanical props to add to the fun and ambience. The snag? The same issue I have at most mini golf places, people start to get bunched up behind you because their playing too fast/making their own rules or whatever. Were we playing too slow? Maybe. There were four of us and we played as quickly as we could but alas... Even the staff girl told us we're capped at 5 swings a piece at one point before we need to move on. Needless to say, by the end we had several impatient people waiting behind us. I know this isn't Monsters fault per se, but I repeatedly saw kids just putting the ball near the hole for easy shots to go faster or smaller children crying and jumping random holes out of order. With better planning, the Center could become a strong café and community space. While most events still cater to a small segment of the community, the Seahawks viewing party was a positive outreach effort. The Honorary Consulate remains of limited help to the Italian community due to impractical hours and slow responses. Better integration with the Center, such as aligning consular hours with café days, would improve its usefulness. The retail space has improved, but I would prefer more unique Italian specialty items rather than products commonly found in supermarkets.

I just left the Crash Test Dummies concert. There was NO BASS GUITAR until the last song in the encore. From the start of the set until the encore, the sound was completely flat. It was murky and you couldn't tell the difference in sound between the piano, lead guitar, acoustic guitar, or accordion. It was all just one volume and a steady mess. I brought 7 guests with me as this was the 8th time I've seen Crash Test Dummies in concert, and my guests were extremely disappointed and did not enjoy the show. The band brought a great performance as always, but this venue is complete garbage when it comes to running sound for a rock concert. I will NEVER go and see another rock concert at this venue and neither should anyone else.

It's not meant to be a street festival, merging with local businesses on the streets. Instead, it's at primarily Liberty Park, with numerous features to entertain all ages. Community services and local businesses set up booths offering swags and information. A children's play area for fair type of games, some at extra cost Petting and feeding zoo was highly popular for kids and adults - especially the camel and alpaca. An Art Market area offers hand made items for purchase Band and seating area Large beer garden area Food booths offering food and drinks The Renton History Museum is free during this weekend too. There is free parking by the library, and we easily found street parking nearby. We've been to this festival maybe 5 to 6 times over the years, and always found it to be enjoyable, a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

Let's face it's an entire convention center room dedicated purely to vintage arcade & Pinball machines. The 3 day festivities are in June at the Tacoma Convention Center. I defiantly anticipate kicking my summer off by launching into my inner geek fest for hours on end. $ 20 to $25 per day is the admission price and the game play free unlimited playing. As a child I played with a pocket full of quarters at the arcade and now it's free once you pony up the admission fee. My favorite games I played this year was the new KISS Pinball machine. Amazing graphics and lightening fast ball action with amazing play. You'll be blown away by the newest features built into this machine. Heck you can even pick which KISS song you want it to play during the game. Also the multi ball play is insane. Ball's are flying everywhere and if you lose one another shots back onto the playing field. Very hyper and sometimes keeps you to focused on the play. Aerosmith 2017 machine was ok, so after a few plays I walked away instead of "Walk This Way". The Metallica Pinball machine was a nice playing machine however AC/DC's 2017 Pinball machine is awesome and should win the 2017 hyper play award. The fact the Angus bares his buns at the end of the game to give you a "MATCH PLAY" number is hilarious. New Batman Pinball machine came out. Kinda ironic since Adam West who played Batman died a few days ago. Vintage games like PAC MAN, Donkey Kong , Tempest & Astroids are line up in the gaming section of the floor. All the games you'll remember from childhood are there to play and as many times as you want. Most fun you'll have in an afternoon in Tacoma , so folks put it on your calendar for next year.

The food options are decent (Filipino, burgers, pineapple drinks, Mexican snacks, etc.), but expect to wait for the food for a while (30+ minutes) if you go after lunch hours. Also, it's always super hot since there isn't much shade, so bring lots of water and covering if you plan to stay for a while. Tip: 1) Come on Friday if you don't like crowd 2) Parade starts at 1PM on Sundays 3) If you want to enjoy some food without waiting, go to the food area (in the library parking lot) before noon.
