This GameStop sold us a PS3 game controller and when we got home we realized it was broken and…read moremissing the cord. We brought it back to the GameStop where we purchased it and asked for either a refund or exchange and they refused. We shop here all the time and spent way too much money on here to end up being stuck with a broken controller that's missing a cord and out the $30 we spent on it. I have three separate people in my household that shop here on a regular basis and they have just lost all of ya! This is absolutely ridiculous and unfair to us.

They have most new books but hardly anyone is there to help you. Magazines? What a joke. Boxes of…read morenew magazines stay stacked for weeks. I've noticed people opening them to get the new ones before they're outdated. As I type this mid-January, Halloween decorating magazines are still out, Christmas cooking and decor magazines still in boxes. One female staffer snapped at me for looking through open boxes of unshelved mags that "she's working on it!" This mystery worker was nowhere in sight. Why didn't the snapping staffer work on it instead of walking around biting at customers? On the plus side, there are probably a dozen different Harry Styles magazines everywhere and up at checkout counters so if you're into that silliness, you'll be pleased to know what they prioritize. Not a store for serious readers.

Everyone is so helpful and smiling, eager to assist you if you need help finding something but they don't hound you while you are browsing, they just let you look for as long as you want. They may walk by and notice you are looking for a certain item and ask as they pass if they can assist you but without pressuring you. I could shop in that store all day long. If I was rich I would spend my money right there. You can find things to decorate your house with and pretty clothes, esp for kids and pretty gifts for any kind of event. If you haven't been in the store you need to go!

Called to see if they could engrave a Bible for my daughters wedding. Was told yes. Took Bible to…read morestore and showed the young lady at counter what i needed engraved. She wrote on a very small paper the words all in one line even though what I showed her was two lines so I told her needs to be two lines and she made a note I told her to put in left panel and she said ok. Went back to pick up Bible and it was not correct. The owner wasn't there so I left and when outside I called because there were customers in store and I was so upset the Bible had been ruined. The owner finally called me several days later after I had to purchase another one to get it engraved for the wedding and when I spoke with him and told him my issue he said the clerk told him I didn't tell what side to engrave and he believed her so...he did say he would review the cameras and call me. Days later I CALLED HIM and asked if he had watched and he had and I said you determined what...he said you DID tell them so what does he do but offers me a gift card to go back and spend in his store not even the $40 I paid to have engraving done and he ruined the Bible so I'm still out the Bible which I understand because I didn't buy it there but also the money for engraving something I can't use and if I want anything I have to go back there and buy something else. I don't plan on going back so....I guess I'm just out. They made the error and I get this. Oh well.
