The parking in this town is crazy! I parked up by the school and walked down the hill through the old Library front yard. She's been quite clever in using this as a front of sorts to attract people needing her services as a seamstress, mostly mending clothing; which is her real business. (Clever marketing on her part, I'll give her that.) She mends a lot of clothing for artist friends. I talked to her, as I had a very expensive and special shirt which had come unraveled on sleeve seam. (It was a gift from a very dear friend, and I'd worn it during a prestigious awards ceremony last summer. It was my favorite!) After months of hearing nothing, I began contacting her through her Facebook business page. I asked her politely to return the shirt at her earliest convenience. Also, that if it had been mended but not yet returned, to please bill me so that we could wrap this matter up. I received no response to two messages for weeks. She finally texts me yesterday. QUOTE- "Stop contacting me. Your shirt has been donated to women's resource network." I texted back that I was incredulous that she would treat my property this way, viewed this as theft, and wanted reimbursement. She has yet to answer or acknowledge.
