Still, it's not too bad. The parking lot is pretty tore up, so watch that. Inventory is plentiful and features new items and used items. The prices are fair on most items, and people are in and out consistently, which tells me these guys do a lot of business. All in all, I do recommend, but they dont sell guns, ammo, or weapon accessories, so don't expect hardware like that, but pretty much everything else!

I been going to the Mountain Man shop when visiting my deceased father living in Colorado Springs since the 70's. Actually this store in one of the highlights of my trip. These guys are true Mountain Men and give you the freedom to browse their store and have always answered any questions I may have. Over the years I have purchase several accessories for my TC Renegade muzzleloader and hard to find frontier clothing. I enjoy looking around at all the merchandise they offer. Unfortunately I am unable to visit Colorado as much I did in the past currently living in Florida, I do enjoy my memories of my times visiting this wonderful shop.

So I know they treat me well because they're a wonderful bunch of people. That said, when so many other places in town had no ammo, Springs Armory always seemed to be working hard to get ammo. AND, as an added bonus, when they do get new ammo (and firearms), they put out a fun and informative video to let everyone know. As a veteran, I also appreciate the deals offered as a Thank You for my service. When I am in the market for any weapons or ammo, they'll always be my first choice.

You're only as strong as your weakest link. Fellas in the back are great, but Jackie's attitude takes away from all of that. I even watched a customer leave and politely told her to have a nice day etc and she couldn't even be bothered to give that customer a thank you or goodbye. Unreal. UPDATE: response from the owner shows a lack of accountability. Not once did I have any negative interactions with anyone else but her. You can go on and on and make up lies but there are multiple reviews similar to mine stating she has a terrible attitude. You will not get any of my money and every single person I come in to contact with who shoots will know about this. Fail response and fail business. Take your money elsewhere people

Emails often went unanswered, and it was extremely difficult to reach anyone by phone. When you're purchasing a high-end firearm, clear and timely communication should be a priority. I placed a very expensive firearm on layaway, but encountered several issues throughout the process just because I paid with different cards to spread the cost. I am currently still waiting for the refund to be processed. I'm not questioning the products they sell, but the customer service and communication fell well below my expectations for a transaction of this value. I sincerely hope they improve their responsiveness and make the process easier for future customers.
