Got help from Mary (front desk) When my brother and I walked in. Asked her questions about magic singles. She was Super nice. Clearly explained the magic singles system. They have two computers in a side room. The process is you search, add cards to your cart, then Submit order. Then they look through all the cards they have (huge collection). And when your order is ready the let you know via a buzzer system. Eric (who was a manager guy) Saw me looking around and was attentive and asked if he could help. He was super helpful and went to the back to check on an item for me! TWICE! Nice guy! Neko (card grabber) was fast and reviewed my order before handing over lots of those cards. I appreciated his work and he had a great smile on his face! Would for sure recommend if you're local or not. Great game/ card shop!

Overall there selection is nice, they have a large quantity of everything. Was really surprised at…read morethe amount of stuff that they carry in store especially pokemon singles. But sadly as a pokemon collector they're also somewhat disappointing. As a collector I watch prices especially on cards I'm trying to collect. When you're asking graded card prices on ungraded prices especially anywhere from 50-300 dollars over market value it's unreasonable. Their service is extremely friendly however as someone who only collects one thing this is not a store I'd visit again because of the unreasonable prices they ask for pokemon singles.

I asked why it was so much when I was told it was going to be significantly cheaper prior, I was asked if I was a preferred member, I asked how I would know and was told " you would know if you were". Apparently the $90 price was only if you prepaid for the items this was never said over the phone, I skipped cheaper product at other stores because of this. The deal was not offered and was pretty much told oh well should have prepaid. Thanks Castle, I want to like the place as it's the closest with a big selection but it's not worth giving my money to a place that won't honor a deal they had in place.

The people that come there to play are are great, the shop is extremely well-run, the staff is great. They do special orders and card trading. They carry some gently used items. And there's a purchase stamp program. Anyways, my brother used to take me, his baby sis, with him to the comic book shop every Tuesday when I was little, and read them to me, so I like checking out any shop I run into in my travels and moves to other states for a touch of home. Castle Perilous is among the most welcoming, and is among the best stocked in each category while still having a lot of variety. Smart use of the square footage. It's impressive.
