So when I recently found a brand new, unused Aquascutum navy blue trench coat at my local Frip-prix, I knew who I had to look for. These coats usually go for $2000 retail at places like Holt Renfrew or Ogilvy's and while the coat was way too big for me, I just couldn't let such a rare find get away. I came to Natale Tailleur and the elderly Milanese gentleman here did his magic. He altered the coat to fit me without once compromising on the integrity of the quality of the coat. I had a few new pairs of pants which needed to be hemmed and brought up (since I'm so short) and brought them in here for alterations. They did a fantastic and professional job. I broke a zipper on an expensive ski jacket of mine, which was under the armpit for "ventilation"…read moreon warmer days. Some of the mesh had caught on the zipper, as well, and had ripped. It was a difficult zipper to access and I know that it wasn't typical work of a tailor to fix / replace it. After some initial hesitation, we agreed to a budget, and Paul agreed to take it on the repairs. While he said it would take 1 month, Paul took about 1 week with it. More importantly, he phoned me on the day we had snowfall again in Montreal (in April), and said he rushed my 2 winter jackets to get done so I'd have something to wear for the snow. He also did additional work on another winter jacket of mine: reinforcing the stitching of a button that was coming loose. He also noticed another small elastic band / button that ripped in one spot on the jacket, and included this fix within the scope of his work and the initial budget.
