This pharmacy is called Lagniappe Pharmacy now and it's off of Hwy 42 in Prairieville. I wrote a review for this pharmacy under the Lagniappe Pharmacy in Gonzales accidentally but I'm sure that one deserves 5 stars as well bc I've been to 3 locations and they were all great! It's definitely worth the drive from Baton Rouge. All the employees are really nice and caring. I was having problems with my insurance company and the CVS (Perkins Rowe) and Lagniappe were the only places that had my medication. Eric and Makaela have gone above and beyond dealing with my insurance company and getting my meds. approved. Meanwhile I had to keep calling CVS, was getting mixed info. from different employees, would drive all the way across town bc a pharmacist told me it was ready when it wasn't, waited 4 extra days bc they "forgot" to call me and tell me that they didn't even have my medication and that they would have to order it. I drove back and forth across town 4 times bc the CVS pharmacy techs and pharmacists weren't communicating with each other or with me. Trust me it's worth the drive from Baton Rouge to not have to deal with all that stress every time and it's nice to go to a pharmacy where the employees actually care about you. They also sell Circle E & Orleans Candles, cards, medical supplies, soap, ziploc bags, fabric softener etc.... and other household items. read more
