I should mention I'm a hair Colorist at a high end salon in Chicago (making me a bit more picky) but I wanted to get some French magic done while visiting Paris with my Husband, Gregory def delivered. Julien made blowing out my Kardashian like hair (long, thick, curly) seem easy while having fun convo, and the results were a beautiful bouncy blowout;) Def recommend this salon. Did I mention they were super accommodating and got me in within an hour or two of my calling that day (not due to not being busy because they were) but I said I was leaving the next day and must've heard the desperation in my voice over the phone;) Just a heads up for those traveling from the states. If you're one to count every cent you spend (my husband def is and was confused), ask questions BEFORE getting hair done anywhere you go. This IS NOT a negative comment about this salon at all, just a heads up that in most salons in Paris it's NOT UNUSUAL to pay extra for things like shampoo and conditioner. Most places back home only charge extra for deep conditioning, so I hate to see negative reviews taking away from great work over things that are pretty standard there;) Just factor that in before you get hair done abroad. I explained Rebecca what I wanted and she told me what she could do and not do given the length and nature of my hair. The result was exactly what I dreamt of, and didn't need me to blow-dry my hair every morning. Bonus points: - They do their own natural shampoo here, you can buy them even without cutting your hair - They massage you for free when washing your hair - They won't cut your hair like you want them to if they think it will be unmanageable for you - that's too rare for a hairdresser to do, and I deeply thank them for that - Prices are really reasonable and they apply a student discount even if you don't ask for it!

I was really nervous, but the women here were very welcoming and accommodating even though we didn't speak each other's language. A woman took my jacket to hang up, she gave me a quick hair wash / scalp massage, and then she cut my hair (combo of electric clippers and normal scissors). She also offered to gel it at the end. I paid 19€ on credit card, and then she seemed to really appreciate my 2€ cash tip. My hair looks great. P.S. If this review helped you, I'd love to hear it! It had a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere and was frequented by neighborhood locals, obviously regular customers. They spoke no more English than we knew French, but we managed to communicate what we wanted with no problem and were very pleased with result. Would highly recommend!
