When I told her I was looking for a guitar that I sold years ago she said "ha, good luck with that". Everything that I said was met with a snide and condescending remark. She said several times during our interaction "I'm not trying to be mean" and "I'm not trying to be dismissive" when in fact it did seem that she was being both mean and dismissive. However, it didn't seem that she had to put much effort in doing so. I asked if I could leave my contact information in case they came across any information for me. She refused and said "we have too many people looking for guitars". Imagine that, people looking for guitars at a guitar store. Natalie is a rude and unpleasant person. She concluded the conversation by simply turning around and walking away. Natalie should not be in a customer-facing role and has no business treating anyone the way she does. I was glad that a friend was with me because I was so appalled by the interaction I wasn't sure that it really happened. This was such an unnecessarily negative experience and I don't really understand why someone would work in a guitar store if they have no interest in guitars or helping people connect with guitars that have special meaning to them.
