Excitingly Morrocan in ambience the food is middle eastern. Its a narrow long cafe with a bar counter. The starters are fantastic and the place is great for groups. I went with a friend to catch up and we arranged for Sheeshas at an added price. The proportions are good, and the service is pretty alright. I have a suspicious feeling only merely by the layout of the restaurant that they prioritise on big groups. A big yes though because I loved the food and it leaves you with a nice satisfied feeling.

Not only the food was five stars, it is the atmosphere and its lovely staff that make this place a winner. So much so, that they have three venues spread over the same road, and the same side of it. Crazy! Gallipoli Again, is decorated with many many wonderful colours, it is the Casbah style and you really feel as if part of another world. Don't be surprised if you see people dancing on the table or chairs, the table next to us was celebrating a birthday and they came out clapping and singing (turkish?) and the birthday girl stood on the table whilst her friends stood on the chairs; everyone else joined along with the cheering and clapping, it was great! This evening I was feeling veggie, so I begun with the Dolma (stuffed vine leaves), and continued with Borek (Traingular pastry filled with fresh Feta, served with rice and Cacik) and for dessert lovely warm apple tea with a selection of Baklava. And all for £16, including glass of red. The best way to eat and try everything is to share, but sometimes the food is too good for that!

I love Mediterranean style cuisine and this place doesn't disappoint. The decor is a little eccentric (in a good way) and the service friendly and accommodating. The menu is also packed with lots of tasty goodies which has you planning a 2nd visit before your 1st order. We ordered the mezze platter (a must!) as well as the Gallipoli special grill and harem chicken which was very impressive given the great prices.

I'm from U.S. This place was recommended to me from a UK friend. Went with a friend while on a business trip. We were not disappointed. We have several different starters and all were great. It is a small restaurant with a great atmosphere and food. It was busy on a Wednesday night. Had a bottle of Spanish tempernilla which was devine. Highly recommend going to anyone who asks

The decor of the restaurant. Lovely mixture of lightings

Delicious food and very fast service! No complaints here! Also the decorations throughout the place is very lovely. Probably good for family during the day, but it's also good for groups. It wasn't too loud albeit I went on a Wednesday night with friends but there were already groups of people drinking and enjoying themselves. The meal was reasonable, the dish I ordered came with rice and dress salad, which were a complementary contrast the the spicy lamb kofta I ordered. However, be aware it's definitely a long walk from angel station.

But let me tell you...this is SO much more than just another kebab shop! I wish I could tell you what we ordered, but I can't. Mine was a stewed lamb atop hot bits of pita and slathered in their house sauce (like sour cream.) Oh good lawd IT WAS SO GOOD! Also equally delish was the hummus and pita. Service was super, food was amazing. Do yourself a favor and visit! I wish we were locals so we could eat our way through the entire menu. P.S. They do Uber Eats/new delivery if that's more convenient for you!

OMG! So much food…read more Between the 2 of us, we ordered 1 main course (iskander kebab) and 3 starters (sausages, imam bayildi - stuffed aubergine and falafel). The food was all super tasty, but we had so much leftover! Both of us had skipped lunch and were having early dinner, but we barely put a dent on the amount of food that arrived. As soon as we ordered, we were brought Turkish style bread lovingly buttered and 4 different dips (hummus, minty yoghurt, cheese and a tomato one). This itself would have been a sufficient meal for us both. The falafel came settled on a bowl of hummus. The side salad with the main arrived in a plate of its own. Service was very fast and the lady serving us was lovely as were the line of chefs we passed by on our way in and out. When you peep through he window, it looks like a tiny kebab place, but they have really comfortable seating at the back. Some of the other places we wanted to eat at in Camden on a Friday night were completely full, so we entered this place on a whim, but left completely dated and satisfied.

I was already prepared to order pide and lahmacun but the staff proved helpful in knowing how much to order. They have a big oven so the bread is hot and crispy as it comes out and the kitchen is open so you can watch your meal being made. Everything was delicious. It's a tight spot but a good one.

I ended up getting the non-mince lamb pide, with a side of the pepper relish sauce (ajilik? can't remember what it was called). I saw a man in the back stretch out the dough to make the pide, and slide it into the oven. Then it was brought out fresh from the oven on a wooden cutting board w/a pickled pepper on the side. The pepper relish sauce was garlicky and amazing with the pide. The pide had just the right amount of toppings and flavor. The crust was thin and crisp without being too bready or doughy. The pide looked huge but I inhaled it. Perfectly spiced, right amount of sauce without being soggy, crust was crisp to the last bite, everything about it was delicious and quite affordable. I would definitely come back the next time I'm visiting London.

It's the best! We decided upon this place after a pool tournament at the nearby hurricane rooms. Having both been knocked out in the first round, it was quite a fortunate circumstance as we wouldn't have discovered this place otherwise! Upon entering the place was well lit and clean. It wasn't in the least bit smoky unlike some Mangal's that absolutely leave you smelling of charcoal. There were only two other tables taken so I thought it might have been a wrong move... Our orders taken, straight away we're brought the complimentary turkish bread and dips that all mangals normally serve. Quite often this bread is cold and chewy, or given with a nasty dip that smells a bit off. Not here. The bread was warm and super yummy, and a good portion of it too! I absolutely stuffed myself on this because the dips, of which I don't know the names, were so good! Remembering that we still had out mains to come, I stopped. But at this point I was around 50% full! Our mains come out and boy are the portions gigantic. Lots of meat, extremely fresh looking and tasting salad and your choice of fries or rice. With a thin pitta as the base. There was oil in the doner chicken, but not as much as you normally find. It was very tasty. The chilli sauce, wasn't that hot, but the flavours were full and a welcome addition to the slightly charred moist chicken. As we were about to ask for the bill, (note: Earlier to this I had heavily complimented the staff on how good the food was) they were exceptionally gracious in offering us some complimentary turkish tea and delights. That was a nice touch and perfect end to a perfect meal. I honestly felt like a guest in somebody's home, as all the staff from the cooks to the waiting staff were super nice and friendly. This is apparently a chain (same owners), with another in Shoreditch which I've visited. But it's nothing close in either food quality or staffing at this branch. So it's fair to say they only share the name (along with many dozens across London) Give this place a visit if you're around King's Cross Station and looking for a quick bite. For just over a tenner, you're sure to leave stuffed and more importantly happy. Now isn't that what life is about.
