Although the surgery itself was a success, what happened afterward was unforgiveable. Against my brother's wishes and during a terrible ice and snow storm, he released him only hours after surgery without an adequate dosage of pain killers. Because of the storm, they were not able to get out of Omaha safely and had to rent a motel room! The next day when they finally made it home, his pain was so severe he had to be admitted into an emergency room in the town they live. There they administered the appropriate pain killers and kept him overnight for observation. I would not want someone else to be put in such a situation, so I am submitting this review.

I called his office after tweeking my back and barley able to move much less walk. They told me to come right in. After nearing crawling in the office I spent about 20/30 minutes with Dr Weakland and his staff. They took xrays, did an assesment, spent a few minutes an an awesome massage table then received an adjustment and a little acupuncture. When it was all done, I was able to walk out of the office in half the pain that I was when I arrived. Dr Weakland was suprisingl affordable. I couldnt have been more pleased. Until working with him and his staff I never had any faith in chiropractic care and expected to be poked, prodded and twisted with no sucess and presented with a large bill. Dr Weakland was the complete oposite. I am amazed. Additionally, his staff are so nice and polite. Its always an absolute pleasure to be in the office. Furthermore all follow up treatments went fast and on schedule. No waiting. In and out in a matter of minutes. He works wonders. Highly reccomended.

My goal was to gain clarity on my condition, as I previously felt I was not receiving clear answers--only recommendations for procedures--despite the impact this injury has on my ability to perform my job. The check-in process was efficient and professional. After being called back, I was weighed and taken to an evaluation room. Approximately ten minutes later, a nurse practitioner entered. She was friendly and took the time to ask detailed questions about the incident. She conducted an evaluation and asked whether my original provider had performed an X-ray of my hand or only a visual assessment. When I explained that only a visual evaluation had been done, she expressed concern that imaging had not been completed. She also stated that, based on her review of my chart, I did not have carpal tunnel syndrome but instead may have a rheumatoid autoimmune condition. This was new information to me and had not previously been communicated by my original specialist. I did note that my primary care provider at Methodist Hospital had once mentioned the possibility of an autoimmune issue but had not confirmed a diagnosis. The nurse practitioner indicated she would step out to conduct further research and return with additional information. Approximately fifteen minutes later, Dr. Jeffrey Tiedeman entered the room. He asked questions that I had already addressed and referenced my visit to the emergency room due to loss of feeling in my right hand. At that point, the experience shifted. He examined my hands and stated that an X-ray was needed to confirm a carpal tunnel diagnosis. I asked whether this could be performed during my visit, and he instructed me to follow up with my current provider instead. I explained that my current provider had not recommended or ordered an X-ray. I asked again for assistance, and my request was declined. It became clear to me that my concerns were not being fully addressed, and I did not feel supported in obtaining answers about my condition. Both the doctor and nurse practitioner then left the room without explanation and did not return. I waited approximately fifteen minutes before realizing the visit had concluded without closure, guidance, or next steps. This experience was disappointing, as I sought a second opinion to better understand my condition and receive appropriate direction for treatment. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and follow-through did not meet those expectations.

My sister and brother in law have been seeing Dr. Adam for awhile and now that I have insurance that covers chiropractic care I felt like I had nothing to lose when I was thinking about chiropractic care. Setting up an appointement and filling out the necessary paperwork was a breeze. The clinic website has it set up where you can fill out most of the information online and I think I may have had to sign a few things when I got there but I honestly don't remember because once I started seeing him my muscle pain went away. He starts out asking you a few questions and then determines what the best way to treat you is. At Behm Muscle & Joint I have now had my back adjusted, learned new stretches to help my shoulders and back, had dry needling done and he even scraped my muscles with this medal instrument that looks painful but it wasn't that bad. I love that Dr. Adam goes beyond just adjusting your back, he gives me exercises and stretches to do at home, reminds me how much water I need to drink every day and is always checking in to make sure I'm not feeling pain during my appointment. I explained on the first visit that I am hypo thyroid and have dry mouth due to having Burning Mouth Syndrome. She came up with a bunch of supplements and when I started taking them - they messed up my thyroid and caused my mouth to be more dry which in turn caused my burning mouth to get worse. She had me bring back most of the supplements that I have paid over $3,000. for and then she came up with a diet plan that was impossible for me to follow and then wanted to charge me more. I was never reimbursed for the supplements I returned and so in part I ended up with nothing but a big whole in my pocket where she took the money. She might be good in the chiropractor end of it but wouldn't recommend her as a Functional Medicine person.

The PT ( Believe her name was Henneman), and proceeds to call me a he after the receptionist told her I am a girl, I corrected her because in no way form or fashion do I look like a He or presented myself as one, however instead of an an apology she said and I quote " it's because of your hair". I am black and have long locs but in no way or fashion does it disguise my gender. Again no formal apology was issued.
