I explained on the first visit that I am hypo thyroid and have dry mouth due to having Burning Mouth Syndrome. She came up with a bunch of supplements and when I started taking them - they messed up my thyroid and caused my mouth to be more dry which in turn caused my burning mouth to get worse. She had me bring back most of the supplements that I have paid over $3,000. for and then she came up with a diet plan that was impossible for me to follow and then wanted to charge me more. I was never reimbursed for the supplements I returned and so in part I ended up with nothing but a big whole in my pocket where she took the money. She might be good in the chiropractor end of it but wouldn't recommend her as a Functional Medicine person.

I had been coughing for four months at that time, and had been dealing with constant thin clear mucus or congestion. My face, and my throat would be irritated, I would experience audible wheezing resulting in asthmatic flare ups. Which meant up to 2 to 4 nebulizer treatments per day,oral prednisone for at least a month and antibiotics because I get sinus infections. I was very skeptical of the treatment she was recommending which is called , (N.A.E.T) NAET treatment. IT IS A drug FREE, HOLISTIC, TREATMENT for ALLERGY ELIMINATION. When I show up for my appointments, I would tell the doctor that this is very different and quite interesting. I was not confident that it would work, but I was desperate as my chronic cough and asthma problems were hindering me my normal daily activities. I had an allergic reactions to a dog that I purchased for my husband along with a history to allergies known and unknown. I went to treatment two times a week for almost 5 weeks.
