I had to change my review from a 5 star review to 2 star . Basically I have been a customer for over 2 years now and tip $20.00 ish every time . I get a volume fill on volume lashes . The owner sunny did my lashes and she completely screwed then up . They are short and a few fell out . I called back on my first day off thinking that it being my spa they would be helpful . There are many techs and I expressed I would be happy with any of them just fixing it . I even said I would pay for it . I was extremely polite . No one took accountability and I said I was really disappointed as I have a wedding coming up and would need to go somewhere else . They chatted in their language and said because the actual tech wasn't available no one was willing to help . So this is a terrible experience and I won't return . I used to send them a ton of business when I managed a salon . I will go to April Nails as many of my friends go there and their lashes are full and consistent. Super disappointed and hope they haven't let being popular make them decide to destroy their regular business . Bad business practise ladies ! read more

I never ever write reviews however this was the worst pedicure I've received. The space itself was calming and clean however the service was sub par. I went in for a pedicure specifically to have my gel polish removed. The tech removed it by hand filing instead of with a drill so some color was still left at the end. My nails were barely cut, I had to cut them again when I got home. I mentioned that I'm super prone to ingrown toenails but she didn't seem to take that into consideration and hardly cleaned out the sides of my big toe nails. The next morning I've had to cut out my own ingrown which was worse after the service than before. Just a basin of medium hot water to soak my feet, no Epson salts, jets or anything. Regular chair, not massage. I didn't get polish and was still charged $54 for the service. Super disappointed and wouldn't recommend to others. read more

i was really sceptical about getting eyelash extensions but had heard great things about a girl named Jenny who worked here. everyone who had lovely lashes told me they went to her. i've wanted them forever, so i manned up, made an appointment and showed up! jenny was very calm and sweet, and checked in with me about everything. the whole place was so clean, relaxing and calm that you could have easily fallen asleep; it was a nice getaway. i told Jenny i wanted much fuller eyelash extensions than in the picture that she had showed me, i even showed her an example picture, and she definitely made them slightly more voluminous, but not exactly what i was going for. HOWEVER, a day later, I'm really happy with them and the style, so maybe she just knew best. The prices are amazing, for amazing quality, I would definitely go here again. (and I will!) read more

I went to this spa for a eyelash extension refill, after having my full set done at Blink Beauty Parlor. The staff was very friendly and welcoming without a doubt. It was my first time there, and they made me feel very comfortable the moment I stepped in. Unfortunately, their eyelash extension service/quality is below par and not recommended. Below is a detailed summary of my experience with their service and lashes for only about 9 days. SERVICE: (PROS) - The staff was very friendly and welcomed any questions. They were very negotiable and reasonable with the pricing. On that note, their pricing is more affordable compared to other salons. Having received around 40 pieces of "close to human hair" (supposedly comparable to the quality of Mink lashes) for each eye for $40 was a great price! (CONS) - Unfortunately, I noticed sanitation was below par. The salon was clean, however, the eyelash extension service was not. Whenever the lash technician had too much glue on her tweezers, she would wipe the tweezer end on the bare leather seat I was laying on. There was no cloth or tissue whatsoever to wipe off the excess glue. My friend who was getting her nails done right beside me also witnessed the technician wiping the tweezers on the bare couch throughout my whole experience. To make matters worse, I noticed she did not wash her hands, nor clean the couch for the next client. - The lash technician applied some lash extensions to the very corners of my eyes which ended up being very uncomfortable as they poked me in the eye constantly, to the point where I was desperate to just pluck them out. Having them applied to the corners of my eyes made those lashes tilt downwards and look very unnatural having lone lashes on the corners sticking downwards. - The lash technician also applied some of lash extensions on top of my previous eyelash extensions, in turn, this makes my lashes often tangled and looking uneven and definitely unnatural. In addition, I often have "hang lashes", in which whenever one lash extension comes off, it won't necessarily fall off as it may be connected to another lash still which is very irritating to my eye and makes my lashes look tangled. - Lastly, right when my refill was finished I was not given any instructions on how to care for my lashes (ie. do not wet your face for 24hrs, do not use oil based products on your face, etc). I believe aftercare for your lashes is important as you spend quite a bit of money to get them done and you would want them to last as long as possible! EYELASH QUALITY AND LONGEVITY: (PROS) They are a great long length, if that's what you're looking for. (CONS) - One lash itself is excessively thin, in which the thickness of the lash stays the same throughout the whole lash. In other words, if you are looking for the natural but sultry look, these are not the lashes for you. My past lashes (Mink, from Blink Beauty Parlor) was also thin, however, it was thick at the base and thinned out to the tip to make it look as if you were wearing a bit of eyeliner even if you weren't! I knew the "close to human hair" eyelashes I was receiving would be thin as comparable to the Mink ones, however, I was not expecting excessively thin lashes that only gave length but not volume. - These lashes do not last long at all. I have already had 2/3 of my refill fall out for only being the 9th day from when I had them done. Perhaps, the lash glue is poor quality? Perhaps, the application of the lash was done poorly? Whatever it may be, I expected most of the lashes to at least last for 3 weeks as promised by the lash technician and written on the services menu. Especially, the lashes being thinner and lighter, I expected them to last longer as does any other thinner lash does. Unfortunately, I experienced fall out of about 3 of their lashes on the same day I got the refill done. Today being the 9th day, I am in need for a refill already, which is not a good sign. I noticed the lashes from my previous salon are more intact compared to the ones I got refilled here. I am aware this review is lengthy, however, I believe if you are spending rather large amounts of money monthly on beauty and are dealing with services having to do with the eyes and eyelashes, I would suggest getting your eyelash extensions done elsewhere. It is worth it to spend more money (whatever your price point may be) for the health of your eyes, quality and longevity of your lashes. In the end, you may be paying more if you go with the cheaper options as you are finding you are going in for a fill every 1.5 weeks. read more

I'm never the one to leave reviews, however, I needed to share my experience. The ladies helping me out were lovely. Tea was served during my Gel Nail service. However! The gel nail set that I have received is of very poor quality. I've had 4 nails break in 18 days (since I originally got the set on Jan 13th). Keeping in mind that I went on my regular activities, and wasn't aggressive with them, the nails took absolutely no afford to break. I was looking on continuing my service at this salon, as it's closer to home, however, it looks like I'll be returning to my Poised Nail Salon in yaletown, where I've received the nail set and had ZERO broken nails in 4 weeks time ! read more

Full set of lashes took two hours to 'complete' but I had cotton bits at the base of my lash on one side, glue bits on the other lid and an omitted lash gap. I also had to have glue removed from my face to the right of my eye. Horrifiedand horrible! Had to ask for the fix which they said would take 10 minutes. Took another 30 minutes (two and a half hours for the visit!) for another staff member to fix it. I was extremely unhappy and shared as much with the owner who 1) Did not say sorry 2) Told me her employee did her best. Uhhhh I should hope every employee does their best and can do their job when working especially with such a delicate area of the body as ones eyes. Owner Sunny repeatedly told me that full sets take time. Have had a full set there EVERY SINGLE time and never more than 1.5 hours. I paid them money to have a staff member refill my meter for me due to their time issues (as couldn't do it myself with my eyes taped shut. For an extra hour of my time gone, having a red mark (now where glue was) I paid $63 instead of $87 after stating my displeasure. What did I want? A heartfelt apology, refunding my extra parking fees, and at least $30 in compensation for an hour of my time wasted and the lateness it caused. Would have been the right thing to do. Got my eye lashes and brows done here a couple of days ago and it's so perfect. From the time that you enter inside, its so peaceful. The staffs are very friendly. The place is clean and tidy. I literally fell asleep while the staff is doing my lashes (hahahaha), you can feel that you are totally relax, actually the music helps a lot too. When my lashes are done, it looks so natural and it doesn't irritate me, same thing in my brows. I will definitely come back here! read more

The best place for eyelash extension!! I go there every month. The eyelash lasts long and doesnt flip to the wrong way. The price is really really good. They offer full-set, half-set as well as express-set. I get half-set for a month or get an express-set every two weeks if I want a retouch more frequently. Express set is 35bux and half set is 60-65bux range. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

Lashes got infected twice. One of the extensions were digging into my lash line the first time. It cause my eye to swell up like a balloon. They ended up removing it promptly and booking me in for another session to fix the set. Once my eye healed up, I went back for my second session and the lashes felt much better however they still caused my eye to react. I have been getting lash extensions for over 4 years and not once have had a reaction like this. At this point I assumed that it was probably the adhesive, and that I possibly developed a reaction to it over time. I went back the next day after my second set to get them removed. They explained that they could not remove it because they were booked up (even though it was clearly an emergency situation - my eye was almost swollen shut). They suggested to go else wear since other lash places do removals. Lucky for me, Hush Lash Studio was close by. After they took a look at my lashes, they told me that most of the lashes were just clumped together and placed on top of my lashes. Some were stuck together, some had clumps of adhesive on it, and all of them were so close to my lash line that it gave no breathing room for my natural lashes. Leaving this review here as a warning to all. Just because someone offers lash extension services, does not mean that they are good at their job. I learned that lash techs are not required to get certifications which is why many places still get away with poor technique that can damage your natural lashes - hence giving lash extensions a bad name. read more

This is my favourite place in town. Staff are very friendly. I did my lash and it was beatifully done- last more than a month not like other places. Mine always fall off completely in two weeks.
