Got tattooed here twice by JT. The only person who currently tattoos there which became very apparent why with my two experiences. The first time he complained about too much movement going on with my arm when I sat still. He was disrespectful with his requests of keeping my arm still. He's very handsy and will jerk your arm back in a hostile way if he thinks you are moving your arm. Another person who got tattooed by him who himself is covered in tattoos said the same thing about his complaints of moving when the customer sat still. So tonight I gave him a second chance because the approach seemed a lot better when I first came in. As soon as the tattoo starts he is in a bad mood and immediately complains about me moving my arm when I stayed still. He is a lot more aggressive and did not hesitate to pull my arm back in a way an arm is not meant to be bent. Everytime it was mentioned that I sat still he would say very sarcastically "You right, you right, I'm wrong. I'm always wrong." He has a very foul mouth which is appropriate in a tattoo shop, to me at at-least, but not when it comes to comments or remarks made to the customer. He then tattoos me very aggressively because of his anger. He complained about being too there too late after the shop closed when he could have rescheduled my appointment anytime that night. He tells me to check the mirror and takes his gloves off so I mention to his friend who was there that some lines needed to be touched up and he said wait until he comes back in and ask him to fix it. He comes back in and I make the comment about the lines and he looks me in my face and says "well I'm not done yet." He then throws a pillow on the floor and asked me if I needed the other pillow on the chair and I said no so I moved it next to the other one on the floor. He made a comment about how he couldn't believe I put the pillow on the floor and that I could have put it anywhere else. So I told him that he himself threw the other one on the floor so I did the same. He replies again with "you right, I'm wrong, I'm always wrong." All in all I left with a mediocre tattoo that took two hours of nothing but complaining and constant unnecessary arm jerking which in now way or form helped him finish my tattoo with any better quality. My elbow was being bent back to where my arm wouldn't even be straight it would be flexed downward. He also made a comment about how I was an a****** while I was in the bathroom afterwards. This guy deserves no business and has no respect for anybody nor does he have the patience to tattoo. I have 5 professional tattoos now done by four artists and no one but him had any problem with the way I kept my arm or leg still while I got tattooed. They all came out in great quality and they were all patient and if something needed to be done they asked civilly and that was it. I recommend never going there for any reason because whether he is the one tattooing you or not he does not deserve the business. read more

The WORSE. This is what happens when a graffiti "artist" learns the technique of tattoo. I've seen his portrait work and was basically speechless. I mean, it didn't look like the picture he did it from, the shading was horrendous and what actual artists refer to as "labored" and/or "tortured". The guy claims to be a "published artist". Theres a little picture of him, with a can of spray paint, painting his tag/graffiti on some random wall, in the ghetto but I guess THATS what he considers a "published artist". Besides that, the guy has a complex and will quickly try to place himself on the moral high ground by bragging about how smart -he thinks- he is or beat ya' in the head with the "I have a masters degree in english" line. (whatever THAT means or how THAT would pertain to ones artistic skills is still a mystery, to me). To make matters worse, he'll insult your intelligence and actually told me that somebody must have came in the shop and stolen an illustration off the wall.....WHILE he was there! Yeah, he actually said those words, to me as an explanation as to what happened to my work. I mean, he's such a righteous dude, I'm sure he didn't sell my shit and pocket the money. LOL. Look, spend your money at a REAL tattoo shop, with a real artist. Do you have to wonder WHY the shop is ALWAYS empty? I've seen ONE person there, in about a there-month-period and have listened to a couple victims of his work carry-on about how much they regret paying for such horrible work. If you want some lettering or cartoonish-type work, he might be able to handle that. I, myself, as an artist would recommend a jailhouse tattoo artist before THIS character. (and yes, I AM an actual artist AND have done jailhouse tattoo work that would make his shit look like the SHIT it IS) read more

They do amazing work here. First went there to have them fix a tattoo and they added totally new designs that went beyond my expectations. They have done another 3 tattoos for me which were all amazing. There black and grey is awesome and what they can do with color and to make it look real as possible is amazing. They have also done work on my father and some of my friends and everyone has been blown away by their work. Even when people see my tattoos they comment how good they look and want to know where I got them done. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get an awesome badass tattoo! read more

My sister, my husband and myself have all gotten tattoos out of this shop and are very happy with the outcome of them. This shop is very clean and is decorated nicely. The artists were very professional and helpful. I went in kind of unsure of color and placement and other aspects of my tattoo and the artist was patient and very helpful with suggestions and I came out with a piece that I'm very satisfied with! I also like that the owner is involved in the whole process, even though he is not a tattoo artist he was involved in our process from start to finish! Highly recommend this shop read more

I recently got a tattoo at Gallery Tattoo. It was a very sentimental one for me so I checked everything out before I decided on this shop. It is a very clean shop, very important to me. It's design is eclectic and welcoming. I spoke with Ashley. I gave her a sample of the signature I wanted tattooed along with some ideas. She was very patient and took her time. Finally, I had decided and Ashley did my tattoo. The lines are clean and the writing is perfectly done. It was a very pleasant experience since it was my first tattoo, and I highly recommend Gallery Tattoo and Ashley. read more

Got my first tattoo here a few days ago from Charley who I've known since i was a kid when i was friends with his kids let me tell you him and the other main artist Jeff are both very professional the shoo is clean and only around a year old yet the people there are bot new to the tattoo business i got mine on my chest and it was quick painless and came out wonderful and i will defiantly be going back for more very soon if you are looking for somewhere nice to get your first piece or just somewhere new in general you can't go wrong here read more

I called this shop and spoke with a guy who was surprisingly friendly and sounded interested in my tattoo idea. I made an appointment to go in and talk my idea over with him. JT is the artist I met and he will be doing my tattoos from now on. He was very helpful in the design giving me advice but not being pushy. We agreed on a butterfly tattoo. Absolute trash, this place isnt a joke its a serious way to get an infection, or a absolute horrible tattoo to be stuck with for life. Thank the lord there are other places in the area with skill to fix the garbage that comes out of this place. The employees are on something nodded out into my arm and the owner must be so money hungry and greedy he wouldnt apologize or return a penny of the money taken for this horrible work . Not happy at all, tattoo artist and owner scammed me out of hundreds by answering phone calls instead of tattooing then telling me I would have to pay for another session over and over again. Final outcome was a disastrous tattoo that , what do you know had to be fixed and cost even more money. I'm a really picky person as should anyone getting a tattoo should be and was really happy with the whole process at this shop. I liked the atmosphere and the shop was very nice and clean.
