FREE MUSEUM warrants a 5/5 stars. No complaints…read more The Transformer Station is a small and free museum that is managed by the Cleveland Museum of Art as a satellite campus. The selection of art work and pieces are sparse but it is a small museum. I visited on a Sunday afternoon in September 2021 with 2 friends. We all enjoyed our time browsing the museum. The staff member that we encountered was helpful. There is an upstairs and a downstairs section. Exhibits are forever changing as in a typical museum so I hope to visit again. Hours are limited and so is parking. There is a small paid parking lot right in front of the museum. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 153/250 total reviews in 2026 - 994 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 9 July 2026

Interesting lighting highlights the art and adds ambience for concerts. The acoustics were a little lackluster but not so much that it ruined the concert. The group was an acoustic jazz ensemble. Very intimate and personal setting for a concert. Small bar set up in the next room/gallery had wine, beer and spirits. Acrylic chairs and a few high top tables in back with better chairs. Small parking lot out front. Scan and Pay. Street parking and a nearby garage. Several local bars for after party.

The woman behind the counter (wish I had gotten her name) was such a sweetheart and very helpful. The three of us adored her. I've been to a few metaphysical shops before, but this is definitely my favorite one. Such great vibes and energy as soon as you walk in. My best friend said she felt the presence of someone there--but they were very happy, she said. We bought a few crystals among other things and the prices were great in my opinion. They had so much to choose from. I could definitely get myself in trouble here if I don't control myself Before we left, the woman let us take two envelopes with messages for free before we left since we came from afar. It meant a lot to us and our messages that we received were perfect. This was a great way to end our trip. Thank you for your kindness!

There are a wide array of gifts, jewelry, shaped stones as well as a small selection of herbs. The candle melts are made by the owner and contain gemstone chips. I was hoping they would sell chips as well but not at this time. Fingers crossed for the future. I wish I would have snapped a photo of the gem space but I admit I still enter places with only my mask and method of payment. The gentleman at the counter said they rotate stones when ones run out/a bowl empties so they will always have different stock. The bowls are labeled easily and have take away sheets of what the stones help with - a plus! Nice location in Chardon for while small it's not in the large shopping plaza but has loads of great parking with the ability to turn around and not be on the street.

Still loving The Exchange 5 years after my initial review!…read more Why? VIDEO GAMES! This is one place I don't mind looking for previously-owned merchandise. They clean up what they sell and make sure it's in working condition before they put it on their shelves. That's huge. I really hate picking up a used game or system and having to spend hours cleaning it because it's way too disgusting to touch until I do. They also guarantee their previously-owned games. I know this because I stopped in last week to buy their Crash Bandicoot PS1 game. It was $30 (yikes) but the guy explained why and also mentioned the guarantee. When I brought it home to play I noticed it kept freezing in the same spot. It must have been a flaw in the resurfacing process. Either way, they took it back and gave me a full refund, since it was something wrong with the game. They do have a restocking fee if you return something that isn't faulty, just FYI. Having had to return a dirty system (in better condition than when we bought it) to another local place down the street because it was faulty and only being offered store credit--I can tell you I really appreciate the refund. I would definitely come back and buy more used games from The Exchange. Oh, and the staff is really friendly and helpful.
