The security here is very tight and also reassuring at the same time, and to get inside to browse…read moreyou need to ring the bell. The entrance is from the carpark and there are a few dedicated parks if you are just in and out. As for the jewellery range it is huge and the staff are friendly and know what they're talking about. This place also fixes pieces and creates gorgeous pieces. A purchase made for my wedding anniversary had to be collected a few weeks later, and upon collecting they gave me a decent bottle of sparkling white (Bird in Hand) to celebrate with my husband. When our actual anniversary day came a beautiful flower arrangement was delivered to our home congratulating us on 25 years. It made us both feel so special even though I was the lucky jewellery recipient. I Iove this place!

This is not your, pick up a cheap bit o' shiny for the missus, kind of place. If you don't have an appointment you have to wait to be buzzed in at the heavily fortified door, before being strip searched and anally probed. Ok, so the last two things don't actually happen, but I bet you clenched your cheeks when you read them! Inside you will find a huge selection of rings, chains and countless other sun reflecting objects that will cause any member from the cast of Jersey Shores to go Oh Moi Gud! I have infact made purchase from Class A before, as have many members of my family. The selection of time pieces (that's what us posh people call watches) is pretty darn impressive, and you can certainly spend a lot of "time" choosing one (sorry).

I went in there needing a ring re-sized pronto, after being told it would be a two week wait my face must of dropped and they did it for me over night! Good old fashion customer service makes me happy!

For years I'd held onto a few pieces that need repair as I didn't know where to take them. I read…read moresome good reviews about this place on Yelp and thought I'd check it out in my lunch break. I felt comfortable as soon as I entered. This isn't a big glossy store with salespeople out the front and workman hidden out the back. It's a small space with three staff working behind a glass petition and a few pieces on sale in the display cabinets. I had a number of pieces but ended up only getting two pieces repaired this time - I had a battery replaced and links taken out of my grandma's Rado watch and a fine gold bracelet soldered. $35 all up and I got a text a week later saying they were ready for collection. They talked me through why some pieces weren't worth repairing unless they had sentimental value (labour far repair far exceeded value of piece). I'm holding onto those until I have extra funds. The address says 68 Grenfell Street but its easier to find if you enter Da Costa Arcade on the east side of Gawler Place.

18/2/2008 First to Review Dear Kuma,…read more Thank you for selling cheap sunglasses. Not just your sunglasses, but all your jewellery is cheap! All of the bits and pieces he sells here are from India, Korea and China. On a day like today when everything is going well, except for the hot weather that's making me easily tired, you set the bar high by letting me try on almost a dozen different sunglasses, helping me figure out which pair of $25 or less sunglasses would best bring out my tan, and you decided the gold over the silvers or the blacks. AND you charged me lower than the ticket price. Not only that, you gave me some very irrelevant medical information that had nothing to do with selling me sunglasses. But that's okay, because we were talking about the differences between being young and old (Kuma even admitted to me that he's feeling older). I dedicate these three paragraphs of medical information to you - although the way you said was also good...readers, please store the following information in your memory! Osteoporosis in Old Age: There are many things that can increase your chances of getting osteoporosis, which is the most common bone disease. These things are called "risk factors": -Diet. Getting too little calcium can increase your chances of getting osteoporosis. Not getting enough vitamin D can also increase your risk for the disease. Vitamin D is important because it helps the body use the calcium in your diet. -Physical activity. Not exercising and not being active for long periods of time can increase your chances of getting osteoporosis. -Body weight. Being too thin makes you more likely to get osteoporosis. -Smoking. Smoking cigarettes can keep your body from using the calcium in your diet. Also, women who smoke go through menopause earlier than those who don't smoke. These things can increase your risk for osteoporosis. -Alcohol. People who drink a lot are more likely to get osteoporosis. Thank you for educating me Kuma. And I love the fact that you've successfully ran your business for over 25 years in a tough market like Adelaide's. SOLD! Kuma, you are so considerate of the majority of the population, because you offer the lowest prices for your goods. You're one of a kind, rare, and not money-hungry, which I really like. Thank you.

All I personally buy for myself here is the odd bit of incense, but there are plenty of things I WANT to buy at times, but can't afford. Among all traditional Eastern products, there are also some anime/manga status and toys that I've seen in here. A little unexpected but cool nonetheless. The fellow who works here is very friendly indeed. A really nice guy indeed.
