I just recently had three prints re-framed with these gorgeous gold gilded frames and they look beautiful. There appears to be two owners, both friendly and professional. You can ask anything about what they have on display and you'll receive a knowledgeable and satisfying answer. Look out for some awesome pieces by an artist called Emma Clark, the perfect addition to any room in your house you may feel is a little bland.

It is very relaxed and you can pop in and browse whenever they are open. I always also use La Galleria for all my framing needs - from old prints to pieces of art to prized photographs, they will take the time with you to choose the best frame, mount and setting. So far, they've done everything from a cheap print that my daughter liked, to a family heirloom in need of some TLC. The owners take the time to talk through your requirements and make sure you are entirely happy with your choices. Great care and attention was paid to both tasks equally, despite the different pieces of 'art' and the finished article was excellent. My daughter loves her first picture on her wall, and our grandmother's painting can now finally go on our wall at home! I highly recommend this gallery and framers.

In short, they are excellent framers, but they are more expensive than average. I had some photographs and cigarette cards framed, and one of the cards needed to be reproduced and dyed to match the others. They were very helpful throughout the process, and advised me on the options (you'll have grasped by now this wasn't your average framing job). They did all that (mounting the original on the rear) and mounted it on acid-free mounts with museum quality glass. The finished result is superb, but it cost over £200. So, excellent for special items which needed to be treated with care, whether valuable or of sentimental value.

Looking for a place to have a newly acquired piece of artwork framed (I am getting of that age…read moreobviously...) and literally stumbled across this place when we went for a wander. They also have another shop of the same name in Islington. Not only is this a place to get art framed, you can also grab yourself some cool prints, pictures and photos, as well as a decent range of trinkets and keep-sakes. The service here was fantastic. The print we wanted framed only just fitted in the car as it was taped to a large cardboard back to keep it safe, but there was no way this was getting back in there once framed...so they agreed to drop it off one day with their van, at no extra cost, fantastic! I have a few more things that need framing and although prices are not cheap (are they ever when it comes to framing?), I'll be coming back.
