I had my boat worked on at boat country in Ripon . Absolute horrible experience . 5 weeks to change a tower and the camera didn't work up in the tower . Brought it back for a coolant problem they said there was no problem other than it being low on radiant fluid . They said they burped the system added fluid and charged me $350 . This boat is still under warranty . Should not have been charged . Called them back they said they couldn't get to me till the end of August . Called up Galey's Marine they got me in right away . Jeff the service manager is an awesome person to deal with met their mechanic another great person . Could not brag enough on what a awesome company this place is . Even though I have to drive 6 hours to get to them they will be my go-to people . Couldn't brag enough on how well they took care of us . I will tell everybody I know this is the place to buy a boat or take your boat . Thanks so much again. Supra 2022 SL550.

First things first. I was skeptical about coming here after reading some of the negative reviews. I am in the market for a specialty tritoon boat. I had spoken with Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga and a dealer in San Diego. they both had a great price, but I decided to drive an hour and a half to Bakersfield? Let me say that I am sure glad that I did. This is a family run business for over 50 years and I appreciate that. Steve and the crew at Galley's was worth the drive. I found out they could match or beat the price and far easier to deal with on a personal level. My needs and skepticism were quickly addressed, and my overall experience was stress free. I can't speak for the other reviews, but I have only positive comments regarding this company. I would highly recommend Steve and the crew at Galey's Marine.

Great customer service. I'm new to the boating game & needed help w/ new Wakeboard bindings. Matt helped us with selecting the right fit bindings & he also put them on our wakeboard & explained how to ride them & how to position our legs when riding as we become more accustomed to wakeboarding, so now I'm ready to wakeboard! The store has all the items we needed for our boat & some. Great shop for your boat needs or if you want to buy a New boat from them. Will definitely be a repeat customer!!

Our boat which sits in a private lake (Pinewood Lake) had a coating of scum on the hull which made it necessary to remove it from the lake and take it for a detail. The scum comes from poor maintenance of the lake but unfortunately our homeowners association doesn't seem to care. Galey's worked on it several hours and finally got most of it removed by using a pressure washer. What I didn't like about the detail job was that they did no polishing or waxing. When I asked why It wasn't shined, I was told that plastic polish does not last so they didn't put it on. I have since been told by other sources that was not true. I didn't make a fuss about it because the $250 they charged me seemed to be fair due to the difficult time they had getting the scum off the hull.

We've had nothing but shoddy work from them. Every time we have had it in their shop, it doesn't even make a day on lake buenavista before it breaks down and leaves you stranded. Their service department has yet to give us the boat back and it be fixed right. We have had 4000 in parts and labor in a year. Their service people have been absolutely rude to me and my husband Scott. He's a disabled veteran, no respect shown to him. They have been asked repeatedly to make it sea worthy and they haven't done it yet. One service person told us not to put the plug in and sink it so the insurance would pay for it. No integrity at all in them. After the last so called repair we ended up with a broken fuel filler hose we took it back and was told it didn't happen in their mechanic shop. It wasn't broken before it went in? We also showed Jeff the outdrive was moving back and forth a lot and he said that it was removed when they pulled the engine out. Then told it wasn't taken out when they pulled engine but was told differently by the general manager Their forklift driver gouges outdrive the they defaced in their shop with indelible ink. Lousy service department.

This place is overpriced on a lot of items and they charge 3x as much for.I paid $11 for the item I came in here to get which is $7.99 at Autozone, but i was right next door at the carwash so I guess i paid for convenience. A $1.25 hot wheels car goes for $3.49 and $10 for a 5 pack I usually get for about $7.99. I had to tell my grandson no to getting an Indy hot wheels that was $11.00 for an $7 car. So they will definitely stay right there until they drop their prices. . Not a bad visit but it is expensive in here if you're in a rush get it here but if you can wait do some price comparison before you purchase anything here. Customer service here was horrible today because the 3 men working here looked at me as if i wanted to stand and wait as they gossiped behind the counter possibly ignoring my existence. JoJo came from the back of the store to help 2 female customers and myself out all while the other 3 looked like Caltrans workers watching JoJo do the shoveling as they leaned on their shovels gossiping about something. I was about to ask for a price match to see if they did it but I was already frustrated by time I made it to the register. Overall an ok visit but Ill definitely wait for JoJo to star checking people out before I head to the counter next time.

My family and I went in having a pretty good idea of what we wanted based upon extensive internet research and awareness of their aggressive pricing approach. We were able to see in person each of the layouts and amenities that we were hoping to and Jason guided us each step along the way. He wasn't a pushy salesman at all, rather a great resource who was there to assist. Ed is fantastic and seamlessly worked with Jason to get us exactly what we wanted. Jack entered the process a bit later on and was helpful, kind and made sure our boat was exactly what we wanted! Our card was charged $1,000; to reserve the boat so that it would not be sold out from under us. I have no problem with that at all. I read the reviews and it is without hesitation based on my own first-hand experience that I recommend this place! All in all, we love our 2026 Avalon and Pacific Marine Center! Thank you!!!

We put a $1,000 deposit on a boat while we went through the financing process and having a hard hit on our credit. We were in contact with them DAILY. We bought a year of insurance as the last act before giving the down payment and signing documents. We got a call that night stating they sold the boat from under us without even a phone call. They then told us the $1,000 was only good for 5 days (first time hearing that!) It was actually the 3rd business day as we had a holiday weekend. If this is how dishonest they are selling it, imagine what else they may be dishonest about behind the scenes! Jack's way to make things right was to offer more expensive boats.. The only boats the owner, Jack offered added more than $10k to the original price. Jack knew we were approved, They could care less we dinged our credit and most likely figured since we were approved; we could be easily forced into a more expensive boat! Jack "offered" two other boats that were way more money! ((Their only goal)) You've been warned.
