DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A few years ago I went to Galen's to fix my ram truck after it was totaled in a hail storm. they had to replace the entire roof. well as I found out they do extremely crappy work. I noticed the back glass was leaking not long ago but not in time to say myself $1000's of dollars in what will be major rust repair. the area where the back glass it where they welded they did not prime, paint nothing they left bare meta. on top of that they did not even seal the entire window which caused it to leak. on top on that they did burn outs with my cummins truck in there drive and blew one of the speakers I had in my truck. I even had to help him as the customer put the new hood on my truck after 2 missed dead lines. I was warned by my insurance agent not to go there but I did not listen and trusted his word. I had a hood and rear door 0n a 07 Silverado. The hood turned out good, but they botched the seals and weather strip so badly that I HAD TO PULL GLASS AND REPLACE THEM BOTH. At the time it was a good value until I had to fix their work. Fast forward 3 years and the paint on that rear door was a cheese color yellow haze over a solid white door. Look no further if you need collision repair work done on your vehicle. Our daughter is a student at Mizzou (we are in GA) and she needed work done on her vehicle. Allie was extremely helpful and provided us with a very timely quote and kept us informed about the work being done on the vehicle. Galen's is amazing to work with and worked well with the insurance company. Additionally, they went beyond the call of duty and made extra accommodations to make sure that my daughter could pick her vehicle up after hours. Additionally, Galen himself stayed late in below freezing temperatures to assist my daughter when the lock froze. The work done on the car looks phenomenal. Her 2010 Honda Accord looks brand new. Had our car taken there after someone ran into us. He wasn't our lowest quote (actually 2nd to lowest), but he got the car right in and had it back, better than before in 3 days like he had promised. Upon picking up the car we find out that not only did he save us some money from the insurance quote he fixed a problem left from a prior collision repair service (for free) and buffed the headlights clean & clear. He went the extra mile of calling around to several other companies to make sure my parts would arrive as quickly as possible and made other calls to double check that he was ordering the exact kind of part my car needed. This is the second time I've used Galen's Auto Body within the last 3 or 4 years. The first was for hail damage, which turned out amazing. No flaws! This time someone backed into my drivers door. I've had my car back for a about a few weeks now and everything has been fantastic. Then there was one problem... I had a seal on the door that wasn't sticking correctly. I took it right to him and he fixed it right then and there. Not too many body shops will work you in immediately. I've been to others that will tell you to come back later that day or in a few days. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this establishment. I originally sent my vehicle in for body repair, because I hit a deer. They had it for several weeks, and when I got it back there was a new dent in the door that had not been there before. Most employees are nice, but they drive customer cars whiteout regard, and the owner of the shop is a child. If he does not get his way, he throws a fit. Literally screaming, cussing, and throwing things in the shop. They may offer the cheapest estimate, but I recommend taking your stuff to a more professional place. read more

I will NOT be going to this shop again. At first i was pleased about the quick service job they did on my hair repair (an 9hour job done in 4) but when i go my car back, there was dirt all over the rugs, someone had stepped on my CD case, turned on the radio, and left scratches all on the plastic parts where they had to remove some buttons (i guess they took out with a freakin flat head or key) and broke one of said buttons off. Galen's Body Shop is really one of those unique places where everyone you interact with is polite, helpful and reliable. I went to Galen with severe hail damage a few months ago. First, when I walked up to the shop, I asked for someone to speak to about my damage and Galen walked right up and shook my hand. Galen gave me not only the lowest estimate but helped me understand what had to be done and how he and his team would do it. I had to go in a bit later for his work, and I called not only last minute but on a holiday (dumb me) but Galen answered and said he would work my schedule. My car came back in perfect shape and Galen held my hand through the entire process. As a young woman who is nervous to be misguided or over-sold, I was happy to interact with someone who was trustworthy, efficient and flexible. I was extremely happy with this body shop and I will be going there for any work that needs to be done in the future! read more

DONT DO IT. These guys are hacks. Didn't get all the dents out. Gouged my dash over the airbag....not repairable. Although they tried with what amounted to what looked like something off of the hair club for men. It was spray on crap that has never come off. The head liner has greasy finger prints on it. Oh and the your hood hasn't come in yet line, then the we got a rock in out buffer and scratched it line. After 3 trips in I cut my losses went and got my truck...unfinished. Just DONT go to a reputable shop. Not someone who is more interested in racing that looking after his business. read more

I have to believe that these 5 star reviews are because they are quite dated and things have certainly changed since then, because my experience with Galen and his team could not have been farther from 5 stars. I went there for a third and final opinion on repairing hail damage on my car. He did give me the lowest estimate, which is why I decided to have my car repaired there and probably should have been my first red flag! Galen and his "team" kept my car for 4 days while I was out of town which they said would be plenty of time to complete the repairs. I was never contacted the entire time my car was there. My boyfriend picked it up, and noticed they obviously did a paint job on the trunk lid and left some sort of filmy spray on the unpainted part of the trunk. When my boyfriend asked, he was told the trunk had not been painted. When I saw my car, it was also obvious to me that the trunk had been painted and the "filmy spray" was most certainly not there before. I also noticed a small raised area of paint on the roof. I called Galen to schedule these things to be fixed and he did tell me the trunk had to be painted. Which is fine, but it would have been nice to have been told that during the 4 days they had my car, and obviously they are not communicating to each other what is being done. Trip number two to Galen's was to have both those things repaired. When I picked my car up, I noticed there were minor scratches in the brand new paint job on the trunk lid! I almost let it go because I just did not want to bring my car back there for a third time to have this done correctly. UNTIL, my boyfriend tried to use the sunglasses holder in the interior dome light cover of the car and it was broken! They had broken the dome light cover and the sunglasses holder while taking the headliner down during the original repair and not only did they not tell me this, they tried to SUPERGLUE it back together! As if that would work or go unnoticed! Needless to say I was livid, and ultimately they fixed the dome cover/sunglasses holder and repainted the trunk lid during my third and last visit to Galen's! I left with the impression that everyone working there is obviously not competent to be doing so! There is also a terrible lack of communication, not only amongst themselves, but with their clients. Did I mention I didn't get one single phone call any of the 3 times my car was in their shop? In fact, I had to call them on trip number 2 and 3 to see if it was ready to be picked up! read more
