Purchased a marine 454 two years ago and installed it in a 36 ft twin engine boat. Less than 10…read morehours later it had a valve failure. A faulty or stuck valve caused the push rod to bend and damaged the rocker guide. Had to pull the cylinder head to repair. Keeping Atlantic marine in the loop I contacted their warranty department and filled out a warranty authorization form via e-mail. they approved the repair and agreed to reimburse a little over $1600.00 for the repairs. After a dozen or so emails and phone calls they still haven't paid this claim. They are masters at making excuses and saying they will call back or that the warranty person was not in. they never call back and never resolved this claim. I'm a boat repair shop in Washington state with 38 years experience and also a master technician. As far as i'm concerned this in not an honest or honorable company. take my advise do not do business with Atlantic marine. No stars should be an option!!!!!
