Maybe my…read moreprevious review wasn't fair, since it didn't describe a true auto experience and I was venting because of the lack of office efficiency at a stressful time in my life. This time I gave in after Joe K highly recommended them. I had a "not so trust worthy" issue with another car repair facility, and decided to move my business elsewhere. The other place recommended additional services on my car that I held off on due to financial constraints. The time finally arrived that I should complete said recommendations for peace of mind. South City Auto Repair had no problem with my four maintenance requests performed in about 4 hours, AND on a Saturday! They stuck to the estimate which was more reasonably priced than the other shop. They also have their prices listed on wall signs within the office, so there is no confusion about what you are quoted. I got a new cabin air filter, had the cooling system flushed, changed the transmission fluid and had the brake fluid flushed. My car is old, but has low mileage, so needless to say, I want to keep it running efficiently for as long as possible. I'm just not ready to invest in a new car with my current fixed income. The owner or manager there who runs the front desk, seems to know his stuff. Always friendly but in a no nonsense kind of way. I guess this will now be my new place to go when I need car service. Hopefully it won't be necessary again anytime soon!

Monaco motorhome which was damaged on passenger side involving 3 colors and hard to match metallic paint. Bobby and Mike are perfectionist. Well worth the short drive to Valley Springs. For small damage areas on a large motorhome they are great. They can't do an entire paint job on these as space is limited. I highly recommend them for fender benders and so on.
