There's an old adage, "The true test of a persons character isn't when things go well, it's when they don't go well!" Saw a 2024 Rockwood Green Calligraphy they had. Since I wasn't price sensitive, traded out & the deal was done which included "2" 7 year ceramic coatings. It was when Katie Silva told me I could pick up my car in 2 hours, did things go down hill. 7 year coatings take at least 3-4 days when done correctly. "Oh no, we have a machine" she said. Bull crap, an outright lie! Deliver the car to me? Nope. You came to my house eagar to pick up the title, but, sorry not going to deliver the car to you, 15 minutes away! 0 Stars -- Buyer Beware at Oakwood Hyundai! If I could give zero stars, I would. On Saturday, 08/23/2025, my husband and I went to Oakwood Hyundai to purchase a car. The salesperson was excellent, but our entire experience was completely ruined by the sales manager, who I believe should not be working in management at all. Here's what happened: We were rushed through the signing process by the manager. He assured us we would get a copy of the loan agreement, but gave it to us sealed in an envelope. We were excited and trusted him, so we didn't open it right away. Once home, we realized the loan amount was significantly higher than the car's listed price -- I had even taken a screenshot of the online listing for proof. I called the manager on Monday to raise the issue. He dismissed me, saying I was wrong. I also noticed a $4,500 warranty charge was added -- the exact amount they were offering for my trade-in. That seemed suspicious. When I asked for the warranty to be removed and the price adjusted, I was told "you can't return the car -- it's yours now." That's not true -- customers do have legal rights in situations involving misrepresentation. My husband went back in person (he doesn't speak English fluently), so I was on the phone to help. We agreed the warranty would be removed and the price corrected. But then we noticed a different insurance charge was added instead. My husband asked if it was required. The manager told him yes. When I asked on speakerphone, the manager told me no. That's straight-up deception. Then the trade-in value suddenly dropped from $4,500 to $1,500. We decided not to trade and just return the new car. The manager agreed, and told us we didn't need to leave a down payment. My husband waited over an hour for the revised paperwork, which he was promised would be emailed. It never came. Instead, the manager began calling and texting us repeatedly, asking where "his car" was. I told him clearly: we are not trading in the car. He then threatened to call the police if we didn't bring it in -- over a deal we never agreed to. At that point, I had enough. I returned the new car directly to the dealership. The manager never came out to speak with me. I have already reported this to the BBB and will be taking further action if needed. To threaten customers, especially after deceiving them, is unacceptable. This experience was one of the worst I've ever had. I still have screenshots of the original listing, paperwork, and messages to back everything up. The car with the same VIN is still listed online for $28,000, even though our loan was much higher. Went in on Saturday and had the 1st appointment. Never been to this New Dealership since they moved locations. Took me in at 8am.... 90 minutes later I get my car back with only an oil change, My car only has 25,000 original miles. I was told they did not rotate the tires after 90 minutes that infact they never touched my tires. I was told the 2017 has 9 year old tires---- They refuse to touch tires 9 years old. Granted, they rotated the tires 6 months previous. After my wife left from previous service 3 lights (warning lights cam on) were on the dash. On this trip they only did an oil change and refuse to service the warnings------ I do not recommend this place. Might as well add this. Since I was first-- I witnessed the young skinny tall boy who shuttles the cars clean all the counters, chairs, tables with one wet wipe and the last thing he cleaned with that one wet wipe was the coffee machine...hmmmmmm read more

My car broke down while on a trip to GA and it was towed to Gainesville Hyundai. The car has been in the shop for over a month and they have been unable to properly diagnose the issue. Numerous messages left for the GM have been unanswered. The service department has both been inept at repairing the vehicle and communicating with us. I've also filed a complaint with corporate and am waiting to hear from them. The repairs would likely be too costly so now I'm in the market for a new car. I would not consider another Hyundai and I certainly would not purchase a car from this dealership. read more
