I have been a patient at radiology associates for the last several years for X-rays mammograms and…read morefor the last three years pain injections every three months in my back . The doctors and other staff always treat me with the utmost care and respect. The only issue I seem to run into is with regard to administration of standing order renewals. For example I get an epidural every 3 months to help relieve pain in my lower back. Without it I suffEr a great deal. I called to rebook 2 weeks ago and my chart was pulled up. They would have known right away that I needed new orders but never told me. In the meantime I saw my dr last week and could have had the orders renewed but instead I wasn't told till yesterday and I don't see the dr till January. Therefore unless I can get something done thru his efficient admin I won't get a shot till we'll into the new year when I was told in September to plan December. Perhaps I should have been told then that they were about to expire? Anyhow as I mentioned this is the only issue and it's an admin issue so entirely correctable. I have always had great medical care both in the us and Canada and in fact radiology associates rivals the care I received in the usa

I am a long time customer of optical studio. The last visit has got me thinking if i need a new eye…read morecare place. I use reading glass for phone, computer work and for up close tasks and I also need to look up while doing these up close task like looking up to talk to people. So, i was told that i should get office kind of lenses which will give me up close and intermediate vision of 10m. I got the prescription from the dr. and finally ordered these office lenses. I was told will take 2 weeks to come in. When i did not get a message to pick these in 2 weeks i called in and was told that my glasses are still not in. So it was about 10 more days of wait and when i finally got them, I could for sure not look with them past my phone - and even that was a trouble. It was found that my new frames were too big for me and that is why the vision was not clear and so i was told to select a smaller size frame and the office lenses would be fitted in these - another 2 weeks of wait and then trying.... Nope these frames did not work either. I had been telling the girls that the power is too much and i want to see the dr. Finally they booked me to see the dr. after 2 weeks ! (he was travelling) I see the dr. all looks good, now we order a progressive kind of lens instead of office lenses. All this while I am still trying to use my office lenses to get them to work, i am getting headache and I i am finding it difficult to work on computer.... I get the progressives and its better than the office lenses but not comfortable (i have that fish bowl effect and heaviness in eyes after using them) i am told I have to give time to get used to them(fair enough), another 2-3 weeks, while they tweak the frame here and there to make it work! I am using them but to no avail. Now I do not want to pick these progressives to do my up close task but rather prefer my old reading glasses! I go back in tell them and they tweak the frame a little better but again I don't reach for them when in need, instead use my old reading glasses. All this happens from start of May all way to mid September. Not to mention the stress i put my eyes through to try to adjust to the various lens with different powers. So finally, I am tired of not having my glasses, i give up the idea that I can have both the reading and intermediate vision at the same time! :(( I ended up getting normal reading glasses and I tilt my head down and look out of the glasses if i have to look at someone when they talk to me or if i am in a meeting!! Optical studio was not able to meet my needs of glasses for near and intermediate vision. I felt they were just playing/adjusting my frame to correct the issues of fish bowl effect and heaviness that I felt after using the new glasses. In fact the power on the lenses was definitely not right the first 2 times. I have been given wrong power lenses before as well. After this 2nd experience, I am now very sceptical to go back to them. No one really knows how to support a patient when they are moving from lenses variety (reading/office/progressives). No one really knows what issues a patient will face when transitioning to different lenses. No one knows the right questions to ask the patient to understand the issue and then to support the patient and correct that issue in glasses.

I'm not trying to discredit someone else's experience (another posted review), but I have nothing but kind words to say about Eye Appeal! I have never received broken or otherwise tampered with glasses/prescription sunglasses (to which I have had several). I would suggest (based on another posted review) that if you are concerned about the state of any eye-ware you've purchased, prescription or not, look at them yourself before taking them into your possession. I don't remember a time where I didn't put on my new pair of glasses the second I picked them up because my new prescription had a sharper image. I would recommend Eye Appeal and know of many people who have had very positive experiences as well! I would 100% describe the people who work here as honest, kind, and friendly.

I've been wearing progressive lenses for over fifteen years and at times have had complications with the prescriptions, leading to more appointments and wait times while adjustments were made (glasses sent back and fixed). I'm typing this review - not even two weeks after my appointment - while looking through my new glasses, the adjusted prescription is perfect (amazing clarity!!). NO revisions needed!...highly recommend this office.

I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this acupuncture clinic to anyone. Had such a horrible experience…read moresome time ago that this kind of treatment made me afraid and therefore very reluctant to ever have acupuncture again. I had needles inserted in 3 different areas of my body ( forehead, shoulders and lower back) for pain. All 3 spots bled, especially my forehead which bled profusely and even the bandages that were hastily applied to my lower back were soaked. The acupuncturist was in a big hurry and really didn't care about my physical health nor my emotional well being. I never went back. Unfortunately I tried another acupuncturist elsewhere in Lethbridge. Same thing , he was also in a hurry and left 3 needles in my body, this time in the back of one leg and it was only when I was getting dressed that I felt these needles still in and of course I was bleeding again from my back leg. He was still in the building and hastily removed them and said something to the effect that if I ever left with inserted needles , just to pull them straight out myself !! Obviously he never bothered to count the number of needles applied. Now, more than 2 years later I had an initial acupuncture treatment on my lower back. Though I was apprehensive about the procedure, it went very well for my lower back pain and NO BLOOD came running out. This was done by my physiotherapist and the whole treatment, including acupuncture was very effective. I have been told by a few experienced people who have used acupuncture extensively in their athletic pursuits for years, that acupuncture should NOT draw blood ever. So BE Wise , if the acupuncturist is nervous and in a big hurry, you will not have a good experience. Remember, it is your body and you have to live in it.
