I asked the receptionist and she offered to reschedule but was dilated and it had been 2 hours already! I asked again and she just disappeared! Came back 10 mins later and said the doctor said it would be another 20 mins. The waiting room was packed with very unhappy people. I won't be back.

Last year my experience was horrible waiting for 2 hrs. Since I am a loyal patient of 10 year's I thought I'd give you another chance and made my appt. a year in advance for today. I arrived for my 8:30 am appt. at 8:20 and signed in, after driving for 45 min from Delray Beach. There were already 6 people waiting, all looking quite lost, with one receptionist, who also looked lost. I waited u til 8:45 and after hearing the receptionist speaking to another patient who arrived well after me, and telling him it would be 1-2 hrs, I've had enough! I stepped up and told her to cancel me, I'd find a Dr. and practice who actually care. As a side note, the practice used to offer a full service eyeglass technicianand hundreds of frames including contacts. Now there're handwritten signs all over the office stating "No glasses, No contacts, Sorry." One more thing, I received two text messages to confirm my appointment at 8:30, which I promptly answered. Then I received 3 additional phone calls over the previous week from a number and listing I didn't recognize (MEDULA & KUBAL) so didn't answer and they went to voicemail. Listening to voicemail it was the Dr's office confirming my appointment???? How unprofessional this has this practice becone.

Luckily I happened to be talking to my daughter who mentioned that her former coworkers who had eye issues went here and were pleased with the treatment they received. I called to see if they had any appts for the afternoon (it was a Friday). They asked what my issue was and after telling them, they told me to come right over. Now getting there was interesting. I was coming from the south and Waze told me at the Sample Road exit, to take the 2 left lanes and make a left. Well, when you do that, you've passed the place because the entrance is further east. I had to do a U-turn. It was still a little confusing because there isn't any signage that tells you that the first entrance once you make the U-turn is where you need to enter. They're doing construction at the hospital which makes it even more confusing. I finally made it and entered the building. Their office is on the 2nd floor. I got checked in and filled out the required paperwork. They were concerned that my retina detached but after viewing the images that were taken, that didn't happen. Dillon, who did the images of my eyes, was very personable with a great sense of humor. The female doctor whom I saw (I don't remember her name) was also fantastic. She got an eyeball to show and explain what was happening with my eye. I was there for about 3 hours which seems like the average time that I've spent at my regular eye doctor's office.

It was a large area. It was nicely decorated. They had a water fountain and coffee machine on each floor. They also had multiple TVs. The waiting to be seen was not long for me; however, the exam took a few hours. I was taken from room to room to floor. The staff was great. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I got a full explanation from a doctor and options. I recommend this place. I got to meet the famous Dr. Rand by the elevator and that was so cool.

My eye got better quickly. I've been to a few different eye doctors the last few years and Dr Haiman by far is the best. He takes time to listen and then try to find a solution. Cristina one of the technicians was my first contact with the office. She made me feel confident about seeing Dr Haiman to heal my eye infection. All of the technicians are very nice. Don't assume you know what drug was prescribed for what ailment. Thank you to the optometrist who made me feel better and saw the chain of events.
