Excellent scones & coffee. 2 tables outside on the sidewalk, seat 2 customers each. No butter or jam - 2nd day in a row. Though they have dozens of jam jars for sale & Tesco 1/2 block away has lots of butter. As my fellow customer (a stranger, mature Asian lady) said vehemently "We paid for the jam & butter!!" Then she prattled on about it but I hadn't had my coffee yet & full on in my vacation mode so the rest washed over me like the passing smell of jasmine, lovely yet ephemeral.
I'll return as now my punch card is full and they owe me a hot drink or bakery item, albeit without jam, butter.
There's usually a line out the door. I arrive early as I'm over the jet lag and there's no issue early on in the day.
London is extraordinarily expensive (yes darling, I realize I'm digressing). Yet everywhere we go there's a line out the door. Folks park their vehicles facing the wrong way, apparently aren't ticketed. 90% of vehicles look like they've been washed that day, despite the pigeons' best efforts.
