The furniture is a bit overpriced for what it is. There is a good selection of sofas etc if you don't mind paying their prices. They don't have many staff so when it is busy it takes a while to get served but otherwise if it is quiet then they are all over you like a rash - which is kind of annoying. Not a very welcoming atmosphere

Got a great deal recently for a Triton Power Shower at half price. At the time this was even beating all internet sources and had the advantage of being available on the day. For me this was not an isolated experience as I have got real bargains on fairly major purchases on nunerous occasions. So they all round great for the DIY'ers among you.

As for Pollyanna I have been shopping at this shop for years and I have always found the owner to be very friendly, pleasant and most helpful, when I go in I always get a great welcome. There is such a great selection of giftware ranging from Yankee, Emma Bridgewater, Nicholas Mosse (which my entire collection came from), Biblical books (which some have gone to India) and lots lots more!!! As for the spraying of air freshener do you realise that there is a cafe beside her??? there is always a great smell in the shop of the Greenleaf sachets and sparys which I purchase everytime i'm in and I can't wait til her Christmas selection comes in when the shop will be smelling wonderful. I live in Carrickfergus and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else to purchase anything else so I by pass carrick and ballyclare to shop in POLLYANNA in Templepatrick.
