Id advise anyone NOT to shop at this store! The store policy is unbudging on returns, despite their so-called 'personal touch' on customer service. I know that refunds on unwanted gifts are at the discression of the manager/owner of any store, but the majority in this day in age (especially high street chains) will offer a full no-quibble refund on unused goods with a receipt within a 28 or 30 day period (which is usually extended to 90 days over the Christmas period). But BEWARE Moores seem to be a few decades behind on this policy and do NOT take any 'personal' circumstances into consideration nevermind use their discression!!!!!
So, if you are thinking of buying an electrical gift for a loved one (as I did this Christmas), take your trade and hard earned cash elsewhere because they are not that competitively priced compared to anywhere else in the first place, and in the event that 2 of an item is bought by mistake or simply that someone changes their mind (God forbid!!) then you'll be stuck with a credit note for a retailer you may not want or need and a credit card bill still needing paid. Not to mention the fact that the store is going to sell the item thats been returned at full retail price AGAIN hence making their money on it twice!!! Some may say thats business but I'll bet that having read this you'll equally say thank goodness that wasnt me and wisely go somewhere else. read more
