Don't order from them. When they serve gross crap their only fix is offering to make you more gross crap. But you still got a figure out a way to pick it up. This was a group order my coworkers gf picked up. They do not deliver. I really wish the man who was so hell bent on making another pile of shit instead of giving me my $20 back would eat it. I love a pre baked pizza crust because it can hold up to toppings and sauce. It doesn't get mushy or limp. It gets completely done/baked in the center. I love a slight crunch, similar to a crusty bread, in every bite. Now about topping those toppings. Gabe's let's you select your sauce and all. I prefer classic pizza sauce but there are choices such as marinara. The sausage is flavorful but not spicy and it is ground up. The onions are chopped very, very fine. The mushrooms are not over cooked like some competitors and also not big and slick (for lack of a better description) like other competitors. In fact all veggies are chopped to a perfect size and bursting with flavor. The cheese is under the toppings so you don't get "pizza slide" where all of the stuff comes off of the crust before you can take a bite. The people who work there are fast and friendly. This is basically a walk in shop, but there are a couple of high bar tables inside the front door. Prices are well within Pizzeria going rates. Highly recommend. read more

My husband knows Taco Pizza is my favorite. So we wanted to try Gabes for awhile now so we ordered the Taco Delight pizza. (This was not what the picture showed for this pizza) What a disappointment it was. It was like they poured a whole jar of salsa, added some cheese and crunched some chips and added on top. I have been eating this pizza since childhood. The tiny sausage, thin crust, fresh pepperoni, and flavorful sauce make it one of my faves. If you like the frozen Jack's pizza, this is the authentic version. I look forward to this pizza every time I'm in town! read more

Aren't they supposed to wear gloves when preparing pizza, or at least wash hands after handling currency/cards? Requested 1/2 banana peppers on online order. Pizza guy thought that meant putting banana peppers on entire pie them doubling amount on 1/2. My wife hates banana pepper's. Requested remake and had to insist. This was by far the worst pizza I have ever had from an independent pizza place. Worse than all the chain pizza places too. The sausage tastes horrible. I asked for extra sauce and they must have not heard me as there was very little sauce on the pizza. Would not reccomend this place. read more

Looked at reviews from other locations and could not believe that the same business from the south end of Kokomo could open another location and still be rated so low. I gave this location a first try even though I I have lived in Kokomo most of my life, I never tried Gabe's. We ordered a large Works pizza, 2 submarine hoagies, 2 Stromboli hoagies, breadsticks w/garlic, and stuffed breadsticks. Sorry but would not get anything from them again. The crust was a piece of cardboard, the bread on all the subs was off the shelf from a place like GFS, the submarines were lacking meat. The breadsticks were off shelf again like GFS with some seasoning or covering like a novice would do at home. I really feel sorry for these people making this type of food. This could be turned into a good pizza place by adding their own bread products instead of buying frozen or pre-made. I would avoid until they do some serious food product changes read more

Eat at Gabes about once a month. Decent food but it just baffles me how they get past the board of health. Hair not covered, handles money then food, answers phone then handles food, saw guy wash his hands then dry on his jeans then back to work on pizzas. Little more health regulations seems needed. read more
