Then she wanted me to sign up to the "rewards program" which I declined. She pressured me on it and I repeatedly declined. Then she wanted me to sign up for the Macy's Credit Card which I declined, again, repeatedly. I told her I do not want to be on your email lists. I do not want to give you my personal phone number or personal information for your "discounts." I don't want a new Macy's Credit Card I just want to pay for my items. She was clearly annoyed & gave me clearly, super negative attitude. Which is strange, as she clearly doesn't own Macy's so why does it even matter to her?? All this nonsense about giving your personal phone/info at every store is NOT for DISCOUNTS, it's just to collect your "data" to sell to Big Tech for more surveillance & control. I don't want to be on your "lists" I don't want another app on my phone, I don't want your employees to try to force me to give them my personal info. I do not comply. I will NEVER comply. Instead of offering support or guidance, the manager interrupted her and spoke to her rudely, in front of customers. After seeing this, I went over to the employee to let her know how upsetting the interaction was to witness and to tell her she was doing an amazing job. She appeared to be one of the few employees actually working, so watching a manager speak down to her while she was putting in effort was incredibly disappointing. As a customer, this kind of treatment is not only unprofessional--it makes the shopping experience uncomfortable and reflects very poorly on store leadership. The employee handled herself with professionalism, but the manager's behavior overshadowed the entire visit.

There are a few spots in the back of the building which is where I ended up. I suppose you could park down the neighborhood street and walk. The selection was...underwhelming. I hate to compare businesses like this, but I frequent other boutiques with a similar target audience closer to downtown and their selections are much better. The prices feel out of touch to me, but that's not saying much. I don't like spending money. I found that the clothes weren't very size inclusive either. Would I go back? Sure.
