Prices are great and quality of merchandise is good. They offer a wide selection of products and categories from kitchen, crafts, home goods, personal items, pet supplies, party supplies, snacks and more. Although there were only a couple of employees in the store they make a point of welcoming every shopper. In addition I found the store to be well stocked and clean. The check out is self service but if you need assistance you can request it on the key pad.

Not the associate's fault though. The fact that the Dollar General now has a decent app really helps with figuring out prices when merchandise is out of place isn't too hard. The store is decently large and tends to be well-stocked. Also, things are, of-course, cheaper than a lot of other stores. The last time I was in, they had dubai chocolate for sale by the register. It was such a nice surprise and very inexpensive! It wasn't the fanciest, but was so great for the price. The staff is professional, but always seems overworked and a little tired. Dollar General is well known for underpaying their workers, so that checks out. Overall, this Dollar General is okay as far as this chain goes.

The pricing is the same as any other in the area, and great for everything on your list from clothing to home goods, to groceries or electronics. They had a lot of racks full of clothes. Surprisingly all of it was very neat. I rated this a 3 because it wasn't my cup of tea, but I can imagine folks who like to pick through racks of clothing would find this place a hidden gem. Plus none of the clothing were my style. I saw ladies with carts full of clothing. The store had great deals and they were loading up. It is attached to an abandoned mall so the visuals are very old and dated. It has the feel of TJ Maxx or Marshall. That can be nice sometimes, but I personally wouldn't drive to it again. It does have a really large collection, especially of shirts and pants. I did find that the type of "look" seemed to target a different demographic, so I had trouble finding clothes that I liked. When I looked at the tags, most of the clothing was made in China though, so I'm not sure how long it will last. There were a couple of sections with actual Dillards brands, and they were nicer (in my opinion), but then the prices were more like going to the Mall, so I don't really have a need to drive there. If I lived in High Point, I'd probably visit from time to time, but it's not worth the visit from Winston.

The store is so much bigger than I expected it to be and there is a space connected that is often used for classes and events. There is so much to choose from! Clothes, candles, kitchen goodies, decor for indoors & outdoors, seasonal, and jewelry. The staff was very friendly and made you feel right at home! The prices vary but for the most part are pretty true to what I would have expected. The products are nice and you get what you pay for.
