Selling a car. It's a lot easier to sell a used car private party style if it's already smogged. We are on a time crunch. So I called G8 on short notice and was told I could just swing in. Took my family member on my lunch break and in only 20 minutes we'd passed our smog check and we can sell the car now. These gentlemen are always polite and friendly and I woulda felt entirely confident sending my niece alone. My car has an after market catalytic converter and would not pass the test if the mechanic did have the correct manufacturer part number. G8 smog was so helpful by going under the car to get the part number for the test and gave me this number for future tests. I don't know if other mechanics would do this.
